Edge of Tomorrow is a good movie. After watching it a second time, I liked it even more. I am glad to have purchased this movie in 4K.

One of my favorite Tom cruise movies action packed

One of the best films of Tom Cruise and in 4k is a beauty

The 4K presentation is very good. It’s not quite a reference disc like Dune or the Revenant, but that’s due more to the source material. There just aren’t many bright colors to take full advantage of the UHD format. Fortunately the black levels look fantastic, which is good because there are a lot of them. I’m very happy that I switched over to an OLED TV to take full advantage of a film like this. The resolution is great, with only the slightest hint of grain in a few shots. The resolution is so good that I even noticed the limits of the CGI in one scene that I hadn’t noticed before. The audio is fantastic. Vocals come through clearly with a very immersive sound experience. There are definitely other films out there with more active surround effects, but they often seem contrived. This audio experience feels very natural. One of my favorite effects is Cage running around a dune circling the mimic. It’s spectacular. This is one of my top five favorite sci-fi movies of all time and I’m happier than ever to have it on 4K. If you already have the Blu-Ray and a good 4K upscaling player, you may not notice that much of an improvement, but it is there. I’ve noticed a few split-second flaws here or there in many 4K releases, but I didn’t pick up on a single one in Edge of Tomorrow. If you love the movie, you owe it to yourself to get the best version out there and this is absolutely it.

Great sound and picture. The Atmos mix is hard at work here, with plenty of bass.

If anyone likes Science Fiction I highly recommend this movie

Great performances by Emily and Tom! The only thing bad about this movie was the original title "Edge of Tomorrow" "Live For Repeat " though spot on doesn't hurt the great storyline and action to match. This is a big screen summer blockbuster movie that belongs in every home theater.

Despite the resolution being upscaled to 4K, it still shows noticeable improvement from the standard blu-ray counterpart by its HDR10 enhancement. Black levels and contrasts are certain improved. Dolby Atmos is newly included with the 4K UHD disc, which the previous blu-ray release does not have. Great movie and awesome quality in 4k, I wish it had more languages but this one has English Dolby Atmos True-HD, DTS for French in the 4k disc.

Sometimes it's not easy to separate Tom Cruise the actor and the heroic characters he plays so well from Tom Cruise the creepy, vocal supporter of Scientology who at times displays bizarre real-life behavior. But this beautiful Sci-Fi movie starring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt looks and sounds stunning in the 4K format! Perhaps one of Cruises's best films in a long list of excellent movies. Emily Blunt is force to be reckoned with and the entire movie is fantastic from start to finish. The story is palpitating and the ending is well-crafted and satisfying.

Great movie and in 4K it looks amazing! Recommend to watch as it's a nice fun twist on the Groundhog Day theme of being stuck on a loop.

What a great movie. Funny and well acted this movie is a non stop action fest. Great audio for your home theatre if that is your deal. Do it!
