The keyboard on this is really nice for typing and I really enjoyed the convenience of always having it as part of the case. Unfortunately, the case has a few thin pieces of cheap plastic that broke within a few months. My iPad now slips out of the case very easily. Not great for protection. I've had to move on to a different case. It's too bad they undermined a great product with such a little design flaw.

I like the material of case & keyboard. I do however have concerns about how the Logitech Keyboard & iPad Pen holder - closes when not in use. The pen seemingly rest upon the edge of my iPad Pro. Concern is whether or not pen or iPad could become damage. Have discussed concern with associates within Best Buy to which they had similar concerns. Feedback from Logitech stating it's not a flaw in design would be comforting.

I like the functionality of this case in that it holds my pencil and protects my iPad. But the case breaks easily and the iPad also slides out at times and keys do not work at times.

I returned it, because even though the backlit keyboard is great, it's terrible when you fold it back and try to write on the screen with the Apple Pencil. It's bulky, heavy and doesn't sit flat.

I wanted the keyboard for ease of use and the protection for travel. It does both well. I do wish that there was a lighter-weight alternative with full functionality.

The keyboard is great! Super easy to type on and the back light is the perfect brightness. My only issue is the plastic part that holds the iPad in broke after a few months of use. I have had to use super glue several times to mend it back together.

My biggest issues with this keyboard case combo involve battery life of the iPad and the inability to charge the iPad while the keyboard is connected. Since it does not have its own power source, it uses the iPad’s battery. This means that even if you aren’t using the keyboard but have it in the propped up position, it’s connected and draining battery regardless of what you do. I’ve already lost 1% of my battery just typing this little bit. I could deal with the horrible battery drain if I could charge it while using the keyboard but that’s impossible. If you have the charging cable connected and you attach the keyboard, it immediately stops charging. If the keyboard is attached and you connect the charging cable, it acts like it is in charge mode but within a few minutes of swithing apps or doing anything else, it suddenly stops charging. As for it’s intended purpose, it does the job well. And because of the way the iPad slides in, you can easily remove it. This is handy if you have the budget for two different cases. Keep this one for your typing needs and then get a different style when you just want to use the iPad for browsing the web or watching videos. It does require an adjustment period because the keyboard is a tad bit smaller than a “normal” size. My hands will cramp if I attempt to use it for too long. If you want battery life, and are fine with having to charge the case, go with a Bluetooth option. The case is quite durable which is nice but that durability adds heft. I am personally fine with that as I hate cheap feeling accessories. If I’m going to pay close to or over $100 for an accessory, I want longevity.

Added keyboard which was handy, but illumination quickly timed out. Also the rubber sleeve only covered the top and half the sides. Twice my iPad Pro fell out of it and was laying on the keyboard. I returned it.

I got it as a Christmas gift for someone and seeing as it’s December first I can’t reallg tell you if it’s a good item or not but the reviews by people who actually have used it say so so... there.

I love my Logitech Create Keyboard. My only problem is that this is the second one I purchased. The original one I bought only lasted about four months before it stopped connecting to the iPad. I love that its a small protective case and I love the way that it types. I'm just waiting to see if I have the same problem with this. If I do I won't buy another one. I read several other consumer complaints about it despite all the good reviews.

Not a bad product, but not as high a quality as I expect from this manufacturer. Between my wife and I, two of these have broken. We are NOT rough on our devices at all. We think there is room for improvement. On one, a keyboard key fell off and could not be repaired. On another, the plastic case broke, which caused the iPad to not be held tightly into position. The issue is in the plastic becoming fatigued from removing and re-inserting the iPad from the keyboard case once a week. Apparently, this keyboard case is not designed to allow easy removal or even frequent removal of the iPad. So buy the extended protection plan. You'll be sorry if you don't. And with these issues revealed, I would still recommend this product. Just get the extra protection.

This Case is better than the Apple one as it provides more protection. However, the iPad clicks in and out too easily. Which it was held in there a bit more. It slips out while your folding it to set up the keyboard

Likes: backlit keyboard, The keyboard is powered by the iPad, (so you don't have to charge it.) Dislikes: This case does not securely hold my iPad in place, causing my pad to fall out of the case upon opening.

The keyboard/case for the ipad does not fit snuggly.

I recently got a new work iPad, and needed a cover/keyboard to protect it. I had previously had a Logitech keyboard that was a hard cover, which I really liked. This one is just okay. On the negative side, from time to time, I find that the iPad "slips out" of the cover. Also, it doesn't really seem sturdy - unless I'm on a hard surface, it's hard to use. On the positive side, the keyboard doesn't appear to require charging like my old one did, and the bluetooth connection is much more consistent. There were no instructions at all in the package so I'm not 100% sure how the unit actually charges - I guess I could go on-line to see.

Looked to be a nice, solid case - keyboard was easy to use, integated holder for the stylus, and most importantly the SmartConnector to avoic Bluetooth. Unfortunately, one of the reasons I purchased it was the backlit keyboard, which stopped working in Week 2. Logitech support has been great so far - after one round of troubleshooting, they are sending a replacement. Hoping that one lasts a little longer. Setting this as a 3-star review in the hopes that the next one will work.

it is amazing how ipad keyboards are clunky, can't find anything that will not add significant amount of weight and bulk to the ipad

I wasn't to thrilled with the case. In my opinion it made the iPad heavy and bulky. I returned it 2 days later.

The keyboard fit fine, but it was not the easiest thing to interface with the ipad, it took a lot of research thru youtube to find the correct way. No instruction came with the keyboard.

I bought the keyboard and case because it was a great buy at half off. Every once in awhile the keyboard says it needs an update. When the update message is pressed, nothing happens and then the keyboard doesn't work for a bit. I like the keyboard and case combo but the glitch with the "update" message needs to be corrected. I would recommend it but with a warning. The glitch is not bad just annoying.
