best gaming mouse for ergonomic gamers. I love this thing
Thanks for the review! We're glad you love the G502 X LIGHTSPEED and find it to be the best ergonomic mouse for gaming. Comfort and performance are both important for long gaming sessions.

This is a step above the regular 502 mouse. Love mine and would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a new mouse.
The Logitech G502 X sounds like a fantastic upgrade! Its lightweight design without compromising quality is impressive. It's great to hear that it meets all your expectations for a mouse.

Very comfortable ergonomics, perfect for a larger hand. Usable without the software if necessary.

Here’s a revised version of your message:
I decided to return this mouse and purchased the Logitech MX Master 3S instead. I found the scroll wheel on this mouse to be too noisy compared to the 3S, and the battery life is quite short. While I could have adjusted to the shorter battery life, I just couldn’t get past the loud scroll wheel. I wish Logitech made this same mouse but with the MX Master 3S’s quiet scrolling system.
Thanks for sharing such a clear and constructive review! Your comparison between the G502 X and the MX Master 3S offers valuable insight, especially regarding scroll wheel noise and battery life—two details that can really impact user experience. Feedback like yours helps others make informed choices and gives manufacturers a nudge toward thoughtful improvements.

it works, but the DPI buttons on the primary mouse button are asymmetrical, which bothered me a ton. reaching the top button (which I configured to "next track") was sometimes difficult because the bottom button was so long. I liked the regular G502 instead of this G502 X.
Thank you for sharing your feedback on the G502 X. We understand that the placement of the DPI shift buttons may not be ideal for everyone. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us, as it helps us improve future products.

Worked A-OK, but oh boy did the left and right click sound bad. Hollow pinging sound when clicked. Drove me mad, so had to knock off a couple stars! If something like that won't bother you, it's an EXCELLENT mouse and probably 5 stars! No worries about double clicking with the optical switches, long battery life, and a great shape (fit my hands like a glove).

As a mouse on its own, its fine. Feels good, looks good, works good. The main problem is when we compare this to its predecessor, the G502 LIGHTSPEED.
Whats worse? No additional weights. Even with an old G502 with no weights, the G502 X is lighter, and feels cheaper. The scroll is really light. Which is fine until you turn on infinite scroll, and it feels like you're about to pick up a milk jug and it turns out to be empty. Overall, this mouse just feels like a cheaper version of the G502, while costing $40 more. If you're considering it, just go for the G502 Lightspeed.
We appreciate your feedback on the Logitech G502 X LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse and your comparison to the G502 LIGHTSPEED. We're sorry to hear that the lack of additional weights, the lighter scroll wheel, and the overall feel of the mouse didn't meet your expectations, especially considering the price difference. We understand your disappointment and apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.
