Customers are saying

Customers often highlight the excellent quality, reliable wireless connection, and impressive battery life of the G613 LIGHTSPEED keyboard. Many appreciate the comfortable key feel and ease of use, along with the quick response time. However, some find the keyboard's size and the non-detachable wrist rest to be drawbacks. A few users also mentioned the keyboard's weight as a minor inconvenience.

best wireless mechanical, but still improvements

I really like that this is my first true wireless mechanical keyboard that I've been pleased with. It's got nice weight so that it wont move, nice raised foot angles, no lag for a wireless keyboard, and nice dedicated media keys if you're a person who hates pressing the Fn key. Functionality wise, this keyboard gets 5 stars, however, as a gaming device, I think it has some improvements that can be made. First of all, the keycaps are not made of any fancy material. theres some kind of laminate so if you use your keycaps often, you'll see the letters start to wear out. Other gaming grade keyboards have dye sublimated, or engraved, this seems like a laser etched peice of wording. Also, sometimes the macro keys on the left side are very subjective. I find myself hitting the G5 and G6 keys often when I'm trying to click Ctrl. If this came out in a no-frills tenkeyless option much like their G Pro Keyboard, that would be something I think other gamers (and non gamers) would buy. I see this as a heavy duty multimedia/casual gaming keyboard than a die hard dedicated one. Also, the options to have tactile, tactile+clicky, and linear switches should be an option in the future to make it even more competitive. Would still highly recommend this keyboard to a vast majority, but as a picky gamer, these are some of the subjective gripes I've found about the keyboard.

Mechanical and wireless? I thought this was an amazing idea. The keyboard is sturdy and the sound of the keys is pretty satisfying and this thing has survived some pretty rough treatment and kept going without even flinching. The surface finish is a different story though. Within a year, maybe even less, the surface of the caps and the palm rest were shiny. As it sits right now it looks like I've had this thing for 4 or 5 years so I have to ding the quality on that one because I've had more heavily used keyboards go for at least 3 years before looking so worn out. Another thing is the key response. If you breathe on these keys they will register a key-stroke. Okay, a bit of an exaggeration but I can't count how many times I've ever so lightly touched one of the keys only to have it register an unwanted keystroke and it can get out of hand REALLY fast. Still a good keyboard if you don't have clumsy fingers like me.

So I bought this keyboard because of its affordability and features. It's a great keyboard to be lazy with (no wires and one battery lasts half a year probably). the keys feels great to type with, and I especially enjoy the wrist rest. There is one concern that I have, and that's paint fading on my WASD keys. I've only owned this for about 2 months and the letters are already fading away. I had to contact Logitech support to get the keys replaced. They should be coming in soon. I'm going to stop using this as a gaming keyboard and move it to the home PC. There it would be typed on much less frequently. Overall, it's very sturdy and worth the price, but don't game too hard on it else those letters will fade!

Very responsive with no lags on games. Works well and feels solid. No led backlit, probably a good thing otherwise it will drain the batteries. Users AA batteries. Have not changes In 6 months and shows still 75% good. You my happy with the keyboard, got it on sale. Will get another one when it goes on sale to replace a perfectly good wired keyboard.

I bought this keyboard last summer for my home office (writing and programming) and so far I love it! No binding keys, no missed strokes... Wireless, and still on the first set of batteries at the moment... I intend on buying another for my office at work. At the current discount it's a steal too. No annoying LED's to disable, and I can type text messages on my phone via bluetooth.

I edit on both a Mac and pc, there are about monitors on my desk. I use the Bluetooth and light speed dongle to quickly use my keyboard on both systems. I now have 1 keyboard on my desk instead of 2. For what I needed this product is 5 stars. Your needs may differ than mine. I needed a wireless keyboard to go with my g900’s. Importants notes you may care about -no backlighting -romer-g switch’s (I like them less customizable key caps small group of people) -the wrist rest is non removable This is an amazing editing, productivity, daytime gaming, and all around keyboard. I really do enjoy this product.

Great wireless keyboard. I bought because I wanted a mechanical keyboard and needed the option to switch seamlessly between mac and pc and this keyboard does that perfectly. I've had a good experience with logitech and this keyboard continues that.. oh and battery life is phenomenal (has auto-off option to preserve battery)

This is one of my favorite gaming keyboards. The mechanical feel of the keys, the speed of the Lightsync wireless technology, battery life is all as advertised. The only improvements I can suggest: 1) wished you only needed one for all Lightsync devices like the Unifying receiver 2) backlit keys

Great build quality very strong and heavy. All black with white prints. This isn't one of those over the top Gaming Keyboards as it has no RGB which is perfect for me. No lights are on while in use. Only lights on this is the CAPS lock (no numpad or screen lock) wifi light only when first turns on then stays off. I like it.

It’s a great keyboard. It filled all my needs. I wanted a wireless keyboard, that could switch connections between my two computers with the push of a button. It also has extra buttons for media or other functions, which you can program. Setting one of the macro keys to a mute toggle is especially nice.

This is the first gaming keyboard that I've bought. It is a great bang for the buck keyboard. The keys feel amazing and the build quality is great, but the only thing about this keyboard is the ping sound that happens when you smash on the keys. It is fine after you get used to it.

This keyboard is wireless and just feel really good, it also comes with the wrist rest to help with carpal tunnel! The battery last for a really long time! I have been using it since black Friday and I still haven't need to charge it! Overall, for the amount i paid for this keyboard has made this keyboard worth it!

I upgraded to this keyboard from an ergonomic model. The mechanical switches are very responsive and haven't missed a character, unlike the old membrane keyboard. Performs well with all my business applications and for recreational FPS gaming. I won't be going back to a membrane keyboard again. highly recommend for a mixed-use environment.

If you’re looking for a wireless mechanical keyboard than this is an excellent choice. Logitech’s Romer G switches are similar to Cherry Browns...I’d say a little stiffer than Browns but still a good keyboard to type on. I haven’t gamed on so can’t comment on gaming performance. Would recommend if wires are not a option.

Bought this because I want to learn to code and know that there's a lot of typing involved with that. So far, for the month that I've owned it, it's worked great and felt great. It connected seamlessly through the USB dongle, and if I want to connect it to something else, I have the option to hook up the Bluetooth function and use it there. I don't understand the programmable buttons on the side, and sometimes if I'm not paying close enough attention to where my fingers are lined up, I accidentally hit those instead of "esc" or something, and then nothing happens. It's not the end of the world since I haven't programmed them for anything, but a small inconvenience. I also wish, for the price paid, that there could be some backlight function behind the keys. I play a lot of games in the dark, and if I take my hand off the keyboard or have to hit a key I don't normally use, it's hard to find it.
