I purchased this hub after doing some research on how to control my TV with Alexa. This appeared to be the best option. The set up of the hub was ok, not as easy as some user claimed. Getting the hub to be recognized by my network took some time. Once the hub was recognized and set up was complete adding my AV components was simple. With so many component codes in the Harmony database I doubt you’ll have a component that the hub can’t control. I’m enjoying the features and am getting ready to add my Hue lights to this so I can really get creative.

Works with my smart home technology and turns my phone or tablet into a universal remote for ANYTHING all you need is the manufacturer and the model number. I feel like George Jetson

I needed to get this hub to make the Playstation 3 work with harmony and my Amazon Fire Stick. Works good. Android Smartphone works fine with it. Sometimes there is a small delay from button presses but it gets the job done. I only wish Logitech would build this compatibility to into the remotes and not have this external device taking up space.

Set up was pretty easy, but some things needed multiple attempts to get it going. I bought it to interface with a Samsung SmartThings hub and Amazon Alexa. It does all of this with some work, but changing things between all of the devices is tedious. I haven't thought it worthwhile yet to actually go through the work yet. The hub itself and it's app work as designed. Sometimes the IR blaster won't trigger the TV to turn off so you then have to repeat a command.

So far this has been a great addition to my smart home setup. Easy intagration with my echo dot and homeseer. No need for a physical remote between automation and the smart home app. Great product. Can't wait to make it do more.
Only downside so far is that it will not replace the IR remote for my electric fireplace. Used the remote that came with it and harmony said it couldn't make sense of the IR commands coming from the remote. Bummer.

Competent hardware stuck with clumsy software

I have had a older model Harmony remote for many years and wanted to replace it due to aging batteries. This Harmony Hub looked good because it can be controlled by a phone or pad app.
The hardware is fine - it controls the components with no problems. I give that piece 5 stars. My issue is with the Harmony app. First, it is hard to program and thinks it is smarter than the programmer. From the description I assumed you could create "buttons" that would add control during operation (e.g. mute). Well, buttons are only able to select a channel. For tasks like mute you get a screen with maybe 50 pictograms that perform tasks like mute, volume up/down etc. The pictograms are unmarked. No argument that the system works, but it hardly uses the capability of the phone/pad. In many ways old remotes with 20 buttons are quicker and easier to use. Oh, and the support website is not very supportive.

Logitech should be congratulated for one of the best consumer products I've ever purchased. I've been a Logitech remote owner for over a decade (Harmony 650) and have refined the programs in it for 8 devices in my entertainment system. A couple of switches started going "intermittent" so I started looking for an alternative; hopefully with Amazon Alexa compatibility. Voila...the Harmony Hub. Unboxed it, downloaded the app on my iPhone, went thru the WiFi setup and it asked me if I wanted to download the programming from an existing Harmony remote. COOL! It took my 650 program without a hitch. I placed it centered under my TV and the IR signals reach the TV and all the other devices on a shelf behind the TV. Works PERFECTLY! Alexa DIDNT work however...until I remembered to enable the Harmony "skill" via my Alexa app. Now everything works perfectly. I'd give this thing more stars if I could!

This is our second Harmony Hub. Our original is in our family room (several years) and we purchased this second unit for Christmas to install in our bedroom. The setup and and modifications are easy, and syncing the Harmony to Alexa makes turning on our entertainment systems a breeze. (My wife can never remember which remote controls what.) I highly recommend.

Like most people, I have a remote for my TV, my cable box, a BluRay player, etc. I was tired of looking for the right remote or switching remotes just to change a channel or raise the volume. The Harmony Home Hub and the Harmony app allow me to setup a common remote from my phone. I like that I can create a sequence, such as turn on the tv, cable box, set the volume and change to a specific channel with one tap. I was also able to add the functionality to my Smartthings / Google home, now I can ask google to change the channel or raise / lower the volume.

Awesome remote. Works great with Alexa. I even got to change channels with my voice. It freaked out my daughter in a good way. Takes about 45 minutes to setup. It helps to be good with application. Setup. Few things that need to be updated. The Apple TV remote needs to be intergrated with Harmony Hub and voice control using Alexa needs to be added. Otherwise great worth the purchase especially if you have Alexa

Was not sure about this, but I needed something to control everything. Adding my devices, setting up the activites was a snap. What I did not know, and came in REAL handy, is the ability to create sequences. I have one that does 9 FF's and a play connect so when I hit one key on the remote, YouTubeTV on my Shield skips the entire commercial break and starts playing again. It is a time saver. Fully customizable.

Setup is fairly straight forward from a smartphone or tablet as long as you know the model information for your home theater devices. Control of power and input settings for all devices is very reliable as long as adequate delays are set for to allow for device power on. On iOS devices, the current activity that is turned on is kept in sync across all devices making it easy to jump in and control and activity that was previously being controlled by the Harmony app on someone else's phone or tablet. I can't speak for the Android version of the app, which I haven't used.

I have the 900 (actually 2 of them) - since they don't make them anymore I went with this one - it's good - takes a bit to get use to - needed this hub since components are behind cabinet door - works well.

The Logitech Hub is awesome, I no longer have to use all my remotes because the app can do it all for you. The hub also allows me to use Alexa to control my TV without having to pull out my phone and use the Harmony Logitech App. The only reason I gave it a 4 Star is because it was time consuming the set up all the activities on the app to control the entertainment center.

Works better than expected. Quick easy setup, absolutely no issues. I can now select channels without having to aim the remote directly at the receivers.
