I was tired of being the remote, now my mother just has to speak to alexa and it turns the TV on and changes the channel as well. Great product.

I've had a couple Logitech Harmony universal remotes over the years, and this is basically an evolution of that idea, ditching the physical remote and moving control to your smartphone and/or tablets. The trick is to locate the hub strategically near the devices you need to control, test the correct behavior of activities, and you're done. There's a bit of a learning curve with the Logitech Harmony software, but once you get used to it, you'll never look back. Even better, you can control your devices when you're away from home, so depending on what devices you have, this even works for light home automation use.

The Hub marketing description does not over promise, but set up is not as easy and trouble free as implied. I would recommend the purchase of a compatible controller for ultimate control of assigned devices. When using with Echo/Alexa, remember to have Echo re-identify Harmony attached devices following any device adjustments within Harmony software.

I had the Harmony 950, which worked great, but then I rearranged my home theater components, and in the new configuration, none of the components were visible. This meant that the 950 could not see them via IR. I bought the Harmony Hub, put it in view of the components, and ran the IR sensor to where the 950 could see it. It literally worked perfectly the first time. If anything, the 950 is more responsive with the Harmony Hub installed, than when it directly communicated with the various components. Highly recommended product.

I have a logitech harmony ultimate one remote that I use to control all of my devices & activities (xbox, appletv, streaming music, etc.). I just moved and all of my devices are now without line of sight and are behind the tv. The remote became almost useless so I bought the Hub to add to my entertainment center. It was super easy to pair and setup so that it works with my remote. I was able to place the hub near all of my devices and put the extra IR blaster on the tv to receive the proper signals. The hub saved my living room.
