    Flismy Construction / Poor Design

    I previously had the Logitech keyboard for my iPad 4 and loved it. Usually products get better with evolution; this one went downhill. The construction is cheap and the design is poor. As one example, when the iPad Air is put into the slot, its weight lifts up the front black plastic piece holding it in place and actually bends the entire keyboard cover (portrait mode would be worse due to the additional leverage). Over time, I expect that the case would warp such that the "cover" won't close properly. I have been a very big fan of Logitech products, but they dropped the ball on this one. I returned the case within 24 hours. I suggest that you consider competing models.

    No auto on/off - poor fit when closed

    I have been Logitech user for a number of years - never had any that I did not love. Have used the ultrathin keyboard since iPad 2 and was disappointed when purchasing my air that it was not available. When Best Buy started selling them, I was one of first to purchase. This unit was probably rushed to production with out proper test. Problems - doesn't close properly, and biggest problem is it will not auto off/on. If you don't turn off BOTH the keyboard and the iPad you'll run down you battery. My biggest complaint was my first dealings with Logitech support. They have given me runaround and last email said "Engineering department says that the air keyboards do not support auto on/off". That is right the opposite of what the box it comes it says - it specifically states that it does and all others have up to this point. I haven't returned it but plan to do so. I have been very disappointed in Logitech over this product and their support.

    Don't waste your money. Had two of these break on me within the last 3 months. Never buying from Logitech again.
