Surprise for the money

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.These speakers replaced a supurb set that came with my turn of the century IBM computer and its push button on/off finally gave out. I didn't expect the 6 wt sound to match the old 35 watt speakers but it came pretty darn close. The main differences were in the base sounds and the fact there is not a tone control, just volume, on these. Overall, I'd say for 20 bucks the Logitech is quite serviceable and a great deal for ordinary listening.

My only complaint is that when I bought my new computer having shopped for some time, NO ONE at 2 different Best Buy locations mentioned that my new HP had no sound capability and that I would have to buy the speakers as an accessory.
