This was a great season of Lost. Already bought 2nd and will be buying 3rd after that. Oh, and I liked the way the discs were organized (the case) in this one vs. season 2.

"LOST" has wonderful story lines that are multi-national tying the characters to one another in unique ways throughout the entire series, I thought that was absolutely genius. You get attached to each character and seeing the beautiful island of Oahu scenery. It 's great watching it all over from the beginning!

All the Lost Seasons are very good, especially Seasons 1-3, but starting with Season 4 the show gets a bit weird.

Lost is a great drama where we get to learn the background of the lives the characters led and see them adapt to the island with many secrets. Has a great mix of humor, suspense, romance and adventure.

Mother in law has gotten hooked on watching Lost on our Netlfix, so decided starting off her collection of the season for Mother's Day would be great & she loved it!

Bought as a gift for a friend because they hadn't seen it before and I love this show so much I believe everyone should have to watch it once!

I watched Lost while it was on TV -- decided to purchase. I still LOVE this show -- there are so many twists and turns. Worth watching again.

The set dec's and VFX team did a great job on the few sets there were, after that it was just jungle and beach, kind of boring. Plot is a bit thin & recycled. Other than Terry O'Quinn, most of the acting was a bit sub-standard, just a bunch of "body conscious" actors showing off their efforts from the gym & their chiclet teeth. Hard to believe they kept this going for an additional 5 seasons.

Love the Lost TV series. My daughter and I have thoroughly enjoyed watching the entire collection!

If you've been holding out to start this show then this is the place to do it, and now is a great time to get caught up since the final season starts in January 2010. The show has never looked better than it does here, and I've been watching some of the reruns on the Sci-fi HD channel. You can count the number of individual hairs on the characters heads should it strike you to do so. The show in itself is great. There are some slow periods farther along in the series (mostly in mid-season 2 and early season 3) but the first season zips right along, throwing question upon question at the viewer without answering any of them. There are quite a few extras that ramp up the mystery quotient as well. Not many get answered here, and the end of season one almost guarantees that you'll want season 2 close-by to go ahead and start watching.

Just about every time Lost was on tv I missed it because I am always working, but now I just buy most of the shows that catch my interest and Lost is right up at the top. There is so much detail in the picture compared to when I just watched it on tv (whenever I had the chance) and it sounds amazing. If you have surround sound you have to watch the pilot of this series because it is incredible. The sounds of the engines still active, the tension of the plane falling apart, and people screaming in panic all around you really creates a unique experience that can't be delivered through tv speakers. Each actor does a superb job at making this experience seem real and enticing. My favorite has to be Sawyer a redneck womanizer, who seems to care only for himself (in the 1st season). Each episode is just another piece to the puzzle to not only finding out who these people are, but how they unknowingly have met before, and what mysteries are hidden in the jungle.

Lost has had the most amazing split-review I've ever seen. It's praised for it's incredible story, deep mythology, incredible score, and beautiful visuals... and then it's put down by people not knowing what is going on half the time. Let me tell you, if you're even remotely interested in this show, start right: start from the beginning. This show is one full story with a true, planned end in sight, which therefore warrants your full and complete attention to the first act. Season one is all about introducing the characters to the audience, and introducing the island to the characters. Most episodes contain flashbacks focused on a specific member of the show. You'll enjoy seeing their paths cross, intertwine, or just full-on collide. Season one is all about investing in the characters, building a foundation. My advice to you would be to buy seasons 1 & 2 together. You'll be glad you were prepared!

Lost starts out as your "basic" castaway type story. A plane full of people crashes on a deserted island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. All of the survivors band together to try to survive. You quickly realize though that this show has a level of detail that is rarely, if ever, seen in a TV show. Each and every character has their own back-story and you get to see them piece by piece. What I particularly love about the show is that you really need to think your way through it. It is more than your basic drama where every episode come to a fairly predictable ending. In fact, it is just the opposite. Every episode leaves you thinking and truly unsure of exactly what may happen next. As far as TV dramas go, Lost is in a class all on its own.

I have watched all the seasons of LOST. When season 1 was broadcast it wasn't in HD. When I found out this realease was, I was so excited. This Blu-Ray version is even better than when it was on TV. Crisp images are superb! And no commercials, so you can immense yourself deep into the labyrinth of LOST's stories. Season play is great on my PS3. I wasn't sure how it worked at first, but now I can't watch without it. You can resume within episodes! Bravo! Season 1 is my favorite! I will watch over and over!

Lost is the most intriguing show that has ever been produced. The acting is superb and the writers always keep viewers guessing. Matthew Fox deserves an Emmy and Terry O'Quinn is phenomenal! With all of the "reality" shows on the air, it is refreshing to have a show that requires a little bit of intellect and really challenges the mind!!

Lost may have had its ups and downs later on but this first season was very accomplished and wove suspense and character exposition together in an artful and entertaining way. The commentaries were surprisingly informative and interesting, more revealing about behind the scenes feelings and attitudes than I expected,

This is a great show and it will make you feel exactly like the title says LOST. This show has many twists and turns but that is what makes you come back for more. Check it out and you will not beable to stop at just one episode. The story follows a group of plane crash saviors that land on a mysterious island.

This show rocks. I'm not much of a drama-type, but, this show truly sucked me in. I don't watch CSI & all that stuff. But, Lost is unreal. It has drama in it, but, it also has suspense, action, & sci-fi elements to it. Try it...you won't be disappointed.

This was a wonderful first season to a magnificent show. The acting is wonderful. The plot is intriguing and mysterious. It hooks you in and takes you on a ride.
