Elle King has a very unique voice and her music is so different compared to a lot of popular songs these days.

I bought this CD because the Rock & Roll Hall of fame featured Elle as an up & coming artist. The music is good rock n roll, but I did not care for her voice. Most of the songs are downers. I prefer more upbeat lyrics

I really like this album but truth be told I had purchased for my son. He's only 6 years old but loves Elle King. So I give him credit for turning me on to her. She is very talented and has a great voice. It's an album you can listen to beginning to end. She's no one hit wonder like a lot of the junk you find on the radio.

I know this is not Elle's first release, but for me it is my first exposure to her. I won't go into details about the various songs and so on. Instead, I will say that I am a fan of Gin Wigmore, so if you are too, give this album a listen.

Elle King has hauntingly husky vocals which are so different than the enhanced pop machine variety that everyone seems to have these days. 'Love Stuff' starts strong but the back half of the CD seems a bit weak. Definitely worth buying.

This album has a truth to it and I like the authenticity of her voice and her experiences. The banjo gives the music a unique sound and the lyrics are soulful.

Elle is one of my new favorite artists, but do yourself a favor and pick up her older stuff. You won't be disappointed.

I am not familiar with all of her songs, but I bought this after hearing one of her songs and was not disappointed.

If you've listened to most of her songs on the radio, then chances are you'll be interested in buying this album. Well worth it for any fan of her music.

I love Ell's voice and choice of songs. It's a great style and recommend it to anyone that likes her style.
