When it comes to putting batteries in my Canon DSLR I can't take chances. I always use name brand and it always pays off!

There's no REAL substitute for canon quality. Be battery is simply a trusty addition especially if you're using a battery grip.

I had 2 "knock off" batteries that my Canon 7D stopped recognizing, so I was in a pinch and grabbed one of the "real" Canon LP-E6 batteries at Best Buy while on a work trip. They charge with the camera supplied charger and work well in the 7D. I'm also positive/happy that I won't have to be in a bind because my camera stopped realizing that these are OK batteries. These will always work, so maybe I learned my lesson.
