This game was much better than I expected. I feel like they improved upon the Gamecube game a lot and it kept me interested the whole time. It was also fun to play as Luigi for a change. I recommend this game for anyone with a 3DS you will not be disappointed.

Some dexterity is required, but the difficulty and puzzles aren't too punishing in single-player mode; the game is very generous with hearts that restore health. Taking a little time to collect money and a golden bone (extra life) really helps. Saving is only possible after completing a mission. Missons can be as short as 10 minutes if you know the puzzle solutions, 30-60 minutes if you don't. All single-player missions can be replayed. Single-player mode has a complete story and ending, but 100% completion requires the multiplayer-only Scarescraper mode. Luigi is an utterly endearing klutz!

Great fun! It reminds me how Nintendo can excel when they try. Anyone who played this in the Game Cube days will love this sequel, but it stands on its own for newcomers too. Great 3-D graphics, incredibly funny and draws you in right away. Get it.

Luigi's title is definitely a MUST have for any 3DS owner. This game is so immerseive, and holds up still to this day. I enjoy the levels, the gameplay and most of all it's all based in a haunted mansion! A must for any die hard mario fan!

I loved Luigi's Mansion for the GameCube, so I've been eager to play Dark Moon for a while. It didn't disappoint. The brother of Mario shines in this new installment of his solo series and it is a great game to play on a lazy, rainy day!

This is a great game featuring Mario's younger brother, Luigi! I will say it can be easily completed in a week's time. It was very fun to play, but is mission oriented instead of the open exploring from the gamecube game.

My son had this game for his game cube and really loved it. I just got him the version for the 3ds. He says the graphics are better on this one and is really having fun playing it after all these years.

This is a typical nintendo game. It squeezes a lot of depth out of simple mechanics. Some of the puzzles are ingenious and finding all the collectibles are near impossible on the first playthrough.

This is, hands down, my favorite 3DS game I've played. I love the original on Gamecube, and this takes me right back to that feeling. 10/10 would recommend in a heartbeat!

Interesting puzzles and a compelling adventure await the player. Guide Luigi through the haunted mansion and catch those ghosts. Great fun and the 3D effect is really good.

Adult owned. This is a game where you control Luigi in a search to suck up coins and ghosts with his magical vacuum. The game makes you search the haunted house over and over again while racing against the clock, which can be quite repetitive. The multiplayer function is interesting where you have a team of up to 4 players searching for stuff. Some areas in the single player game are tough because it is not clear what is expected of you to progress in the game. The story was interesting and the game does have some nice details. I would not recommend this to young kids (under 12) as they will probably get frustrated with it.

Got the game when it was bogo 50 for some other types and didn't think these would be as good as the GameCube one but it really is. Can't wait for more

This is very reminiscent of the old Luigi's Mansion on the Gamecube and if you liked that game you'll like this one. However the problem is the game is cut up into episodes and you can't just go around and collect a bunch of ghosts all at once.

I originally purchased this as a gift for my wife, I'm not into the handhelds even though I enjoy the game, I wish there was some kind of cable to allow me to play this on the big screen.
This is a must have for anyone who owns a 3ds, just as good as the original one that came out for the gamecube a few years back.

It's hard to believe that it has taken a decade to get a new Luigi's Mansion game in the hands of consumers. I enjoyed the first installment on the Gamecube and was happy to finally play this long awaited installment, but a bit disappointed that this game was on the 3DS. Don't get me wrong, it is a great game, it has all the fun of the original, the 3D element to the game is cool, but I would have rather had this game on the Wii, or even the WiiU today. This game to me seems much better suited for the big screen as opposed to the small screen of the 3DS.

If you are a Luigi fan, then this will not disappoint. Great game and fun story. Only complaint is it is a little short but still 5 stars.
