You can have a normal conversation with no problems. Definitely heavy duty. I am using my fan for my deck area. It gets really hot in Florida and the misting is awesome!

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The connectors for the top and bottom don't match and so the fan doesn't work. It's extremely heavy and now I have to cart it back to the store and order another. I'm afraid to try since I read reviews on other sites saying that they have had the same problem multiple times over. Really hoping this gets sorted out quickly!!!!
