Works great with iPhone. FaceTime camera tho is horrible quality compared to iPhone. But everything else is flawless

Bought this for my daughter for college. She loves it and Apple products last a long time so I’m hoping this last her all 4 years. She has an iPhone so it’s compatible with her iPhone and she loves that. Im sure I will need to buy extra storage but I don’t mind.

My grandmother was looking to get a new computer for her birthday, and she really got into Apple these last few years so I thought I should invest in a Macbook for her. I do wish I could give a good review. I was SO excited to finally purchase myself a laptop. However, this thing does not stay connected to WiFi. It’s frustrating I’ve searched all different kinds of ways to fix this issue. I’ve had issues with this since the MOMENT I bought it. Did I buy the Best Buy warranty? No, because I bought a new unopened MacBook, I guess I thought since it’s new and not refurbished it would be in pristine condition, but I was definitely wrong. It hurts my heart to write such a negative review but I’m upset about this. I’ve restarted my WiFi, the computer, I’ve done a speed test and forget this network. SOMETIMES I can get it to connect for that moment but once I shut it down for the day. I’m faced with the same problem all over again. And I know it’s not my internet because my phone and other electronics work perfectly connected to it. Definitely do “better” research than me and I guess pay the extra 100-200 something for the warranty. I’m left with an unusable laptop and no way to fix it unless I throw tons of money into it. Anyways - I shouldn’t have to pay MORE to fix a problem that honestly shouldn’t have happened SO early on in the purchase.
