Classic Film. Great release from Kino - Original Pressing with Slipcover and alternate art. Thanks to Best Buy for Stocking this !!

MAD MAX, WATCH IT PLENTY OF TIMES SO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS, I HAD TO BUY IT FOR MY COLLECTION, ALSO I CONSIDERED THE 4K VERSION BUT I THOUGHT THAT IT MIGHT HAVE TO MUCH GRAIN

The transfer over to blu-ray is amazing and digital HD stream is a great addition. The packaging is similar to a steelbook and it's aesthetically pleasing and durable. I would recommend this version to everyone.

Mel Gibson became one of my very favorite actors, very good movie trilogy and very entertaining for hours.

One of My all-time favorite movies never looked better than it looks now on 4K with a very nice collectible steel book to go with it

Nice Best Buy exclusive blu-ray packaging of the original Mad Max. Really cool metal packaging, just enough extras, and both the dubbed audio track and the original Australian track. Affordable price too.

The perfect film, and the perfect transfer. Kudos to Best Buy for supporting indie labels and carrying this in-store.

The beginning of a classic cinematic character. The movie has a timeless charm to it. While I do enjoy the later installments better (with Fury Road being the best) this is the one that started it all. The Blu-ray looks good and the Metalpak is nice.

I was really excited when the new "Mad Max" was about to come out, and when I saw this 35th Anniversary edition, it brought back great memories from my childhood. The HD remastering is great, and (bonus!) I can watch the digital copy on my tablet!

I really liked that they had the original soundtrack with mel gibson's voice along with the "american english" overdub. Just didn't sound right with someone elses voice comming out of his mouth. :)

This is a classic. Mel was great as always. Cool cars, high octane action. One of those great gritty action films of the 80's. Nice behind the scenes photos included with blu-ray, a nice touch.

I love this movie. Has great characters and action. I loved the tone this movie sets up for this post-apocalyptic world. The blu-ray to me looks fine. I haven't seen the MGM disc to compare though.

Collectible red blu-ray case and the conversion to hi-def is incredible. Anyone who likes this movie should own it on blu-ray. Anyone who hasn't seen this original should watch this immediately.

Great movie over all considered to be a cult classic the transfer looks great in 4k cannot wait for the road Warrior in 4k

Shout/Scream factory has been putting out some of the best looking Blurays, that are also loaded with great special features. Mad Max was awesome before, but you have to see it on Bluray.

Pandemic has hit our country hard. I'm getting through it. Thanks in part, to fantastic Mad Max, in 4Kuhd. Yay Bestbuy!!!

Having seen the new Mad Max: Fury Road, I wanted to go back and see where it all began. The movie may be dated by today's standards, but it still holds a classic action movie niche very well.

The best this movie has ever looked. Kino Lorber Films has done a fantastic job on the restoration of this must have classic.

Great movie, but do remember this was made in the 70s. Story is light and doesn't explain much but that's to be expected from Mad max. Must watch if you love the other films. If you didn't like the others or the new one, then it's a pass.

The movie that made Mel Gibson a star. It is still a great action movie even after all these years. The stunts are just amazing and definitely way before any CGI by twenty years.
