I like the game however their is some flaws and bugs that need to be worked out. As far as I was playing and the ref called offense of holding and I had an interception and they gave the ball back to the offense. What a flaw.

I've always been a Madden fan and it seems this game only gets better. Nice graphics and game-play. It pretty easy to find yourself in the game. Highly recommended.

Finally displaying next gen graphics. This Madden is by far the best Madden ever. Every aspect seems to be on point thus far. A must buy.

I have owned every Madden game since 1996! I did not think they could make much improvement from last years game but I was surprised to see better graphics and more sophisticated controls. You now have the ability to control the way the receiver catches the ball, such as making aggressive one-handed catches. You also can control how the quarterback throws, by making lobs for the perfect fade in the end-zone or bullet passes for quick slants. One the defensive side, you have the ability to bull rush the line and make aggressive tackles when in range. You have greater control of how the secondary defends the pass as well, by determining when the cornerbacks or safeties will make a play for the ball. Overall, great addition to the Madden series.

I've been playing Madden like clockwork since '09, I was right there with everyone else upset about paying $60 for a "roster update"... I think those days are gone with the next-gen Madden 16. The first to impress is the new response you feel from receivers, the ability to choose how to go about catching a pass can be the difference between 6 points and 4th and long. Also what I love is the ability to adjust the on-field camera angle pre-snap without pausing the game, simply with the D-Pad. Zooming in up close for a power run is awesome, and zooming out to actually see all of your receivers in shotgun is refreshing. The game's modes are certain to keep us all busy for a while, with Ultimate Team and Franchise being joined by a new mode called Draft Champions, with 15 round fantasy drafts. The menu interface is much better than prior years, it doesn't seem overly simplified for the Kinect. Not to be ignored is all of the new animations we see on field this year, these make the game feel much more fleshed out and comparable to actual TV broadcasts. I know they've been claiming this for years, but they finally got it right this time. Of course, the graphics are more than decent. All in all, this year's Madden is sure to deliver, with something for everyone ranging from young noobies to die hard Madden freaks. 5/5

Madden has come a long way from its first generation of football games. This is by far the most realistic one yet and the new controls for WRs and DBs is amazing. The graphics are stunning and I would definitely recommend this game to others.

Madden 16 is a significant upgrade from last years version. It just feels like your part of the team. Great presentation and graphics, smooth game play and plenty of modes to keep you entertained for months. My one knock is the commentary which tends to get a bit annoying.

People can finally purge 2K5 from their memories. This football game leaves almost nothing left to be desired. Finally being able to control receivers adds a whole new layer not left at the will of the AI. On defensive the new controls make you want to play an entire games as a defensive back. Constantly switching and choosing the best playmaker option opens up a realm of new strategy. Creation mode could be a little better...and commentary drags sometimes. However my first time playing as Cam Newton and being able to scramble for a 50 yard play by pivoting and juking felt effortless compared to Madden 15. This is the best football game to date. A must play for fans.

It's a fun game and has great graphics. Controls are really good. Like how they do have the different modes like Franchise. My 10 year old really enjoys it.

A lot of people are saying it, because it's true. This is the best Madden game in years. Is it perfect? No, but it's getting a lot closer. The passing and receiving is much more challenging and in depth. The graphics are a nice improvement over last year. The players look much more realistic. I wasn't going to get this year's release until I played the trial version through EA Access.That changed my mind. It's worth the upgrade.

I've picked up the last few versions of Madden and I'd have to say, this one is definitely the best looking. Gameplay hasn't changed too much, with the exception of updated controls for receiving (which is good and bad...you make a lot of really cool catches...but it's almost unrealistic how often you make these tremendous 1 handed catches). There are still persistent oddities like throwing the ball directly into the defenders chest only to him drop it instead of intercept the ball. Overall, a good outing but still needs work.

You know what your going to get with Madden. Nothing really revolutionary. Solid game play, awesome online extras, updated rosters. You know the typical EA Sports Madden Game. Menus are much easier to navigate now and the passing game has waaaaayyyy improved. Running the ball is much more realistic however the AI on defense is still hit or miss. I have been experiencing a few hiccups though...a handful of freezing menus. Fortunately Madden saves automatically these days so when it does freeze you don't lose game progress.

Bought this game for my son, he's a football nut, and I've enjoyed the game myself. Madden 16 continues the long tradition of the Madden Games. Graphics and game play are top rate. The on-the-field-camera is awesome. If you enjoy sports games this is one you shouldn't pass up.

This years madden looks great and plays great, better than ever before. The gameplay is smooth, and the controls and players react realistically. New throw and catch mechanics are nice. Franchise mode has added XP points that are gained on the field and visible during the game, this is a very nice addition - that being said, Franchise is lacking depth as it always is. There is a lack of detail from name audio, to sorting by attributes, creation and customization is lacking. Compared to other sports games, the franchise mode barely scratches the surface of the detail and experience it could provide. Scouting this year has been blown up to simplify for everyone, and now it is boring and lackluster. Can't sort by attributes during fantasy drafts, no way to get drafted if you are playing as a player, you can only choose your team. As always there are a considerable amount of bugs upon release, i had a couple crashes. Also - if you start a Franchise on the cloud - don't be surprised if you play entire games and they do not register and fail to upload. you will be furious when this happens as I was. Immediately changed from cloud franchise to local disk. Hoping the bugs are fixed soon. Compared to previous maddens this years is pretty solid, but I think we all know this is nowhere close to the experience that EA should be providing given the amount of people that pay for this game. Seems like the "new features" every year are the same. Franchise mode must be developed.

Gameplay is as good as the last one. I like the added controls for precise catching. Ultimate Team is still addicting. But my single BIG gripe has been EA's servers randomly cut out in the middle of games. This would happen even doing the solo challenges for UT which means the outcome of the game doesn't count towards anything. And on top of that I had to try easy challenges 6 times just to get my win to officially count. Been slightly better lately.

Madden atepped up this year with a few new modes. One of my favorite being the mini draft mode. In this mode there's 15 rounds where you pick 1 of 3 players to add to your auto assigned base team and then you can either play against the computer with this team or against other players online. The new catching mode brings a new perspective into how you try and catch the football whether it be on offense or defense. Overall nice game.

I haven't purchased Madden since Madden 12, had hoped they would finally have a way to work out most of the bugs the game always seems to have, I should have known better. This is one of the major problems with a yearly title, they have a deadline they need to meet and usually release the games with plenty of bugs and this one has plenty. One of the most frustrating is when I put a back up QB or running back in (or they get injured) and the player that comes in is invisible. Takes some time to get used to using just the ball to run plays, lol. There are also some good things about the game. It looks great. The gang tackling is awesome. Having to take control of the receivers or DB's is pretty cool, you can make aggressive catches on both offense and defense. I have a tendency to make big plays, but also give up big plays on D by playing so aggressively, but it's more enjoyable than sitting back all the time and letting the AI make all the plays. Overall I'd give the game 3 1/2 of 5 stars. I would slightly recommend this game to fans of the Madden series. If you're like me and tend to get a little frustrated with the bugs that come along with playing Madden then maybe you should just pass on it like I have for the last few years.

I am a diehard NFL 2k fan. I still play those games. Well since those are no longer made, Madden has been hit and miss. I really enjoyed Madden 10, 11, and 12. I didn't care for 13, 25, or 15. This is a major upgrade. I have actually played a full season with this one and enjoyed it a lot. My major gripe is Nantz and Simms are still awful and say things that didn't even happen. Need to get rid of them in next years game.

The Madden 2016 is in my opinion the best madden made in the last 6 years. Great game, pretty realistic in game play but the difficulty is ridiculously difficult. Playing on all-madden is impossible unless your amazing at the game and 3rd downs as a defense are hard on all levels. Great game though, would recommend to others for sure.
