I tried using the one from a more common brand with no luck no matter how many times I tried wiring and re-programming. Returned that one for the Maestro (same price) followed along the instructions for programming and it worked great the very first time no problem at all. This was installed on a 2013 Tundra.

This was the hardest part of replacing my factory stereo with a new one. I was worried the steering wheel controls wouldn't work. With this product, it was easy and they work perfectly!

Of all the black universal analog steering wheel interfaces out there that I’ve tried over the years, this one really delivers. First of all, the minute you open it you know it’s black. Just as described. Secondly, I find it to be exceptionally universal and analog. I know. How can it be both, right? Well, science I guess. And another check mark on the list of desired traits of a black universal analog steering wheel interface. And lastly, most importantly, it goes right in the steering wheel so you can interface with it. Wasn’t some slick, silver tongue snake oil marketer coming up with the name of this product as you might assume by its cleverness. This black universal analog steering wheel interface is the real deal. Buy with confidence.

Works as advertised in my 2008 Honda CR-V. Could have done without it but I like keeping g the controls.

This interface works great. Easy to program online. Installation was simple and it works perfectly. All steering wheel functions work on my JVC head unit as if it were factory.

I've used both the Metra Axxess ASWC-1 and the Maestro SW and I absolutely prefer the Maestro SW. Actual installation is exactly the same for both but, where this shines is in the programming of button functions. The SW includes an easy to use Web-based application for programming. I flashed the ROM multiple times until I settled on the combination of primary (short press) and secondary (long press) functions I like. This means I'm much less likely to take my eyes off the road to change radio settings

I am so happy with this product, it made the install so much better as now I can use my fingertips on the steering wheel to change my radio settings. It is a must have especially when you drive as much as I do!

I have not been disappointed at all by the performance of this item, My new Radio/CD head unit works the same with my steering wheel control buttons as the factory installed one did.

This is needed to keep the steering controls for my car radio. I had geek squad install the radio and the adaptor for the controls and it all works perfectly.

It was installed properly and works great ....I am enjoying in my 93 Lincoln Town Car...Claude

I purchased this on the recommendation of the service tech. W/O I would not be able to control the radio from the steering wheel. This works just as the original radio did, that makes me happy.

I have an older vehicle that had all the volume plus controls on the steering wheel. My Best Buy installer recommended this interface and it works perfectly. I think it is a necessity to have steering wheel volume and station change control while driving. Most new upgrades for car stereos have small hard to see controls which can be quite a distraction when trying to keep eyes on the road. So if you vehicle can retrofit this steering wheel interface, I highly recommend it.

Thought it would work my bluetooth iphone from the controls but it does not. Alsop does not integrate with the mute button on the steering column. All the other steering controls work.

Excellent. This is the only way we could change out our radio while still having the ability to control it using the steering wheel. Also, the install techs at the Cedar Hills Best Buy are the best.

This device is required to maintain the majority of steering wheel functions when installing an after market stereo. Easy install.

Excellent midule fir my f150 king ranch, i would definitely recommend it fir anyone to increase hands free options fir an upgraded sound system and tge technician that installed it was more than helpful at the Killeen Best Buy store...thank you...
