Not sure if this product was the cause or the Geek Squad installer. Bottom line, it had to be returned so it didn't work for the '17 Subaru Outback.

Unfortunately this unit was not a match for my 2007 Mazda cx7 with a Bose system. I returned it and purchased one that was a match for my vehicle. I am sure it would work great for other vehicles.

Got this for my girlfriends car for her new radio, this ended up not working for her steering controls. Had to return it for a refund

I could not get it to sync up with my pc. I followed every instruction but it seemed like this product is for the professionals to sync and install opposed to trying to do it yourself.

This is a definitely needed device to integrate with steering wheel controls to work perfectly

I suppose it works... The volume buttons work but the forward, backward tracks buttons don't work which is a hassle.

Works well & definitely worth it if you like your steering controls. Not completely compatible with my f150, volume & skip tracks work but can't pick up or end calls

If you have the option for steering wheel controls then you need this for sure!

All the buttons work on my steering wheeling including the voice recognition!

hard to program for 03 jeep grand Cherokee could have been easier like other adapters to program

Not even sure I needed this item, but the installation representatives said it was necessary. They recommended I purchase it early in case they ran out and I wouldn't need to pay for additional items, but they didn't take the return and charged me for another item instead.
