Great speakers for outdoor patio utilizing Sonos!!

This set was the best price that I have seen in a very long time. The sonos amp's have gone up in price so much that I jumped on this sale. The sonos platform is one of the easiest platforms for whole house music you could ever use. Would highly recommend for not only speaker zones, but also whole house music.

This is a nice, bundled option for those looking to extend your Sonos system outside. This bundle includes the Sonos Amp, (2) Sonance speakers with mounting brackets, and an iPort wall remote. Just note that you will need speaker wire to complete this setup. Although the Sonos Amp itself is wireless in the sense that it will connect to WiFi and be able to stream music from another device on your network, the speakers themselves will need to be hardwired to the Amp. The Amp is not weatherproof so you will need to run speaker wire from inside your house to the speakers outside. The speakers are extremely well-built and very solid. The speaker wire routing is well engineered: you’ll route the wire through the back of the speaker through a rubber gasket which spits out the wire to the front of the speaker where there are push-to-release gold-plated connectors which are easy to use. I’d suggest stripping the ends off of the speaker wire after routing through the gasket as it’s sort of a tight fit, which is good of course when it comes to weather sealing. There’s a cover that goes over the connectors that blocks elements from the front of the speaker and then there is a very attractive grill that goes over all of that. However, the carbon fiber woofer is quite attractive as well (not sure if it detracts from weather proofing if you were to not have grill on, but I doubt it). Connecting the wires to the Amp is again dirt simple with the connections being the screw-on, banana plug variety on the back of the Amp. From here, you’ll download the Sonos smartphone app where it guides you through the setup process which should only take you a couple minutes after doing all the speaker wire stuff. Which brings us to sound quality. For being a weather resistant speaker, these Sonance speakers are phenomenal, whether you’re listening to them outdoors OR indoors. Sound quality is crystal clear and balanced. They aren’t super bass-heavy so if you like those sick drops, you may want to hook up a subwoofer, which the Amp does provide an interface for along with a line-in for hardwired external audio source as well as HDMI ARC. A fantastic extension to an already existing Sonos ecosystem but also a great way to get into Sonos being a way to connect an existing home stereo system to multi-room audio.

The Sonance 2-ch outdoor speaker system sounds amazing, and really puts out some good quality sound. The speakers are made of some of the best quality that I've seen in awhile. The woofers are made out of carbon fiber which makes them sound incredible, as well as lets them hold up through the most intense weather. The casing is also very durable with no openings for leaks or moisture build up. The Sonos wireless amp provides plenty of watts for the speakers, plus you can access all the music in the world with the many different streaming services through the Sonos app. The amp can be set up to either your home theater and/or just your outdoor speaker system. The ability to group more Sonos speakers to the system is a big plus, and through the app you can control each room separately or siamotainously. The only problem I have with the Sonos amp, is that there is no power off button. In order to turn off the system, you manually have to unplug the power cord from either the wall or the amp. This is a major pain if you don't have easy access to the power cord. Even know the Sonos website says the amp consumes little power while not playing music, I don't feel comfortable leaving the amp on all day 24/7. This could cause the amp to wear out faster and have a shorter lifespan. The system is all controlled by the Sonos app, from there you register your free account and then connect all your music services. If you have an iPhone with the latest iOS, then you could use airplay to stream your iTunes library to the system. There is definately no shortage of music on the Sonos app, it even had streaming services that I've never heard of. While some of the streaming services require a paid account, there are plenty of free services to choose from. The system also includes a iPort audio keypad, keep in mind this will only work with Apple devices. The keypad requires no wires, as it runs on a rechargeable battery. It mounts to the wall plate magnetically, or it can attach to any magnetic service. It charges through a USB 2.0 plug and the charge lasts quite a long time. With the iport keypad, you install the iport app and from there you can program the remote to access your favorite playlist with the push of a button. It also has a volume button, a skip button, and a play/pause button. To me I didn't really find the remote nessecarry at all, seeing how you can control the whole system from your phone and get full control over it. Overall the Sonance 2ch system provides some amazing speakers and a good quality amp with tons of music to choose from. The only problem I found with the system is the lack of a power option, besides that, I think this is a really great system and would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for one.

Got it on sale for Christmas Can’t beat 699 price ,amp itself is 599 remote is 99 so I got speakers for free ( more or less)

I cannot grade this system because Best Buy still wont come to my yard to install them....very frustrating....horrible service lately
