Used different GPS but Magellan seems to work the best it is by no means perfect but will get you where you have to go bought first one back in 1999 and is still working bought 2 units this time at away cheaper price than my original one got 1 for wife that never reads instructions on how to use and is not tech savvy she was able to figure how to use with very little help and loves it also has way more features and lifetime map updates I may never have to buy another one in my lifetime as it works as good as my old one.

Great Gps but it has troubles. It is not comparable with the SmartGPS Eco online or with the Magellan content manager on your computer. There is no way to backup or manage your addresses or POI. I can't get anyone to help me with it ether.

Versus other gps system out in the market, magellan is on par with the best of them, it is lightweight, easy to program (after you get the hang of it) and very reliable. The price is also very reasonable against its competitors.

Previously had an older Magellan device that no longer could be updated. My new GPS Magellan is excellent with many newer updates available. I expect many years/miles of service with my newer model.

This is a good size GPS unit for the price. I have an older version and they work great. With life time maps, this is a great value.

I am often a slow adopter of new technologies, and in this case being so has paid off. While driving the screens are bright, and provide very clear directions. This GPS likes to offer up what it feels is the quickest route. Though sometimes it selects an incorrect turn that the driver does not want to make, it very quickly re-calculates and catches up to the driver suggesting the next best turn to make. I haven't yet used most of the advanced functions, but just driving with the basic mode has proven helpful.

I love this GPS. It warns me about speeding and red light cameras. I never get lost.

This works as expected. We don't know why directions differed between going and returning on a trip. It's good for drivers with no cell smart phone. Price was less than other brands.

This was a gift and the older-aged receiver was over-joyed after getting it. While not technically savvy, the new user was able to get around well without much difficulty. The receiver still talks about how useful this GPS unit is to them.

There are much more expensive units out there, but if you just need the basics, this will do just fine. Works great so far.

This GPS is excellent!! We used it in Canada and it brought us to the correct destination. It gives a warning everytime there is a traffic camera. NY map is good too, everything is right.

I bought the GPS after moving to Los Angeles because I grew tired of using my phone just to find my way around. It has been a life saver to me and I would recommend it to anyone.
