This is a good basic hd blue ray dvd player. If you already have a smart tv it is all most will really need in a player. Provides a good picture and sound even with older and non blue ray disks. I did have some trouble initially getting it to work but I think that was a function of the hdmi cable and not the player though it could have been the connection. Once it was up and running all was well.

i think this is a really good deal for a 4k player if you don't need all the bells and whistles.

First 4 k dvd and works well and it talks my tv learned it at my tv remote controls it great deal

This is a good no frills UHD player. It gets confused sometimes if you skip chapters or if you leave a movie paused too long, but it does play UHD discs well and it was only $79. I have a Nvidia shield that has all the streaming apps you could possibly need so I didn't need a loaded 4k player. It is excellent for the money.

I've had this 4k player for about 6 months now and it has gotten the job done so far! I made sure to hook up the ethernet to update the firmware to the latest version. It has frozen on me a few times,,, i've had to turn it off and turn it back on. It might be time to do another firmware update. Only problem with that is it has to be connected with an ethernet cable.

Compact and easy to use. Small remote and my daughter uses it every chance she can.

I feel this player makes blu-ray movies appear more crisp and vibrant. Watched my first 4K UHD movie on this and was very happy with viewing quality. The remote was lost because it is so small but we found it! I do wish you could press play without using the remote but it's fine. I like how it talks in a robotic female voice.

This has been a solid purchase. I wish it was wireless and didn’t require being plugged in to Ethernet to update but other than that it’s been great and the picture is clear.

What could be better than getting new HDTV with UHD 4K resolution???? It would be a new tv AND this HD disk player that can play 4k content. 99% of what you see on tv is still 1080p resolution so its like getting a Ferarri but never taking it out of 1st gear. The picture quality of this machine is no OPPO player but for the average consumer, its perfect! Just don't forget to get your 4K discs.

Bought this for my mother. She says it works and she doesn't have to worry about multiple buttons on the remote. It has no Smart features, but it does play 4k disc well. A wired Ethernet connect allows for software updates. No WiFi.
