I was looking to replace an old monopod which I had broken (as a result of my stupidity). I did a lot or research and had a lot of demands for the price I was willing to pay. This monopod fit all of my requirements well within the price I was willing to pay. I regularly place a Nikon D800 on it with a Nikon 200 - 500 MM lens. Without a doubt that is a relatively heavy load for most monopods in this price range. This Manfroto monopod has handled the load several times now with no issues. I flexes very little with that load and provides the mobility and support I was looking for.

Manfrotto - Element 59" Monopod - Red--was a best buy at Best Buy! Even though we had to explain a few times what a "monopod" is, the store employees came through, found the one we wanted and it's great. A must for anyone with a large camera lens.

I had been wanting a monopod for my DSLR, and I finally decided to get one. This version works well. The only thing keeping it from being 5 stars is there are too many twists to extend it fully.

Verey happy with this purchase. Very light, but still very stable. Will be taking this on a upcoming trip to photograph bears and orca in Canada. Will be perfect lightweight support when we’re hiking through the woods and shooting from kayaks.

It came with the stick only, all accessories sold individually, and is expensive. Not as light as it should be, I have a 25 years old monopod come with all parts including the tripod attachement in about the same weight.

Will have to see how it holds up over time but appears to be well made and sturdy for a monopod. Not as light as the carbon fiber options but far more reasonable in price.

I only used once so far. I gave it 4 stars as I found it a little hard to lock in place. since its my first monopod and since I didnt practice ahead of needing to use it, there may have been user fault/error on my part.

This is a top notch monopod. I was going to get a carbon fiber model that was well over a hundred bucks. This does it for way less and quality is just as the others.

it was great for what I needed to work for. The only problem that I have is it is not that easy to untwist those legends pull them out whatever you want to call it LOL

got to shoot a soccer game from sideline. I didnt practice ahead of time so it took me a bit to adjust height. thats why I gave it 4 stars, but might have been user error on my part.

I bought this to help hold my heavy lens. I highly recommend this one as it’s easy to adjust for different heights and has a good grip. Very easy to carry and manage while taking action shots.

So study and easy to use. Definitely makes me feel it can handle my camera with all its gimmicks. Use this when you're trying to stay steady without the confinements tripods place you in.

Well built, study enough for my Nikon DSLR and Sony RX10M3. Fit and finish is very solid, I was going to by a cheaper one but you get what you pay for and Manfrotto is worth the money!

Paid a little extra for this but worth it. Very sturdy and does not flex like some of the less expensive ones. U could use it as a walking stick it is that sturdy.
