Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is an upgraded port of the original for the Wii U with all of the DLC included, as well as some extra goodies, but this version is the definitive Mario Kart experience. Whether you want to play alone, with friends, or with anyone online, this entry is a blast for newcomers and experienced players alike. The only criticism I have for the game is that the driving handicaps are turned on by default, and the game never really tells you how to turn them off.

This game overall is a highly recommended game! Great graphics, fun for any level of experienced Mario Kart players.

Fun game for friends, family and self. The DLC pack is nice additon even at an additinal cost brings different courses. Love the double items, and online play! If you like mario kart this is as good as it gets until they maybe, or eventually release a new one.

I love the vast amount of maps this game offers as well as the option to play older maps from older mario karts with updates graphics. so many characters to play and so many ways to play

My 4-year-old loves this game. The auto-steering and auto-accelerating options help him tremendously and make it a lot of fun for him without getting frustrating or too challenging. I do feel like the steering wheel holders for the joy-cons are pretty vital for him to hold and steer correctly. He can play by himself or we can play with him. The delivery was fast as well!

It's a really good game to pass time with. Doesn't matter what age you are, you'd enjoy it. I recommend the game to anyone that is looking for a new game.

Purchased this as a gift and the person who I gave it to beat me as we started to play. Because of that I now no longer play this game. JK I love this game. It is one of the top purchased racing games in history. If you like mario and have a switch and want to race and you dont mind racing and and and and. JK im bored. ITs a game buy it if you want.

I have played all of the Mario Karts starting with the original and this is definitely in the top! The thing I like about this Mario Kart is that there are So many various tracks, characters and karts! But what I don't really like about the game is that the tracks seem almost easy to do and can't fall off the side of the road creating an invisible wall to go off the side of the road unless you have a mushroom or special item. I also don't like there is no timer for racing unless you are doing time challenge. While the graphics are nice I think it lasts character and seems almost lifeless for each different character. Meaning - Link should be able to swing his sword when he is on his special Kart. Or Bowser's special item should be fireball.. Overall I would give it 8/10! Great switch game and play for hours but the characters seem lifeless and while there are lots of various karts, characters, and tracks. They seem almost meaningless and lifeless.. I wished they would have put more thought into the variety of characters, karts, and tracks!!! .

One of few games my 5 year old can successfully play on the Switch! MK8 has a steering assist feature, "Smart Steering", it can easily be turned off for other players. Much like Super Mario Odyssey, this feature makes gaming fun/accessable for younger or beginner players. Up to 200cc races and battle mode, there's still a challenge factor, if desired.

This game has been so fun to play. I can’t stop playing this game because it’s so awesome. There are a lot of things to get, cars to unlock. The race tracks are amazing and the fun just keeps on coming. My kids love this game, I had to buy 3 in order to have competition with the entire family on the go, and I do not regret it. If you don’t have a switch, you should just buy it for this game a lone. That’s how awsome this game is.
