Having already played Mario Kart 8 on the Wii U, I wasn't expecting much more to come out, but I was for better, surprised how much better it is! It feels great holding a GameCube Pro Controller to drive in a Mario Kart game again and online play is a lot smoother!

This was one of the best games on the ill fated Wii U. The added features, and characters are well worth the repurchase. Nintendo seems to acknowledge the fact that most of the people who are buying this probably had it on the Wii U, so they automatically make everything available from the start. While this lack of progression means there's less incentive to play; it's still fun to play with friends and family.

Highly recommend if you like any of the previous mario kart games. Great quality! Very fun game!

Really good addition to the series, good fun with the family.

The classic racing game keeps getting better, this time with enhanced graphics and battle mode. Once you pick up the controller, you’ll find it hard to put down. And if you can’t find someone to play with under the same roof, there is online mode you can play with one of your friends around the corner or around the world. Definitely a Best Buy.

This title is a staple title for the switch. If you have a Nintendo Switch, then you must have Mario Kart! The title looks incredible and colorful on the screen, it almost hurts my eyes. There is a solid roster of racers and car customizations. Many different ways to play as well. This is great for the kids and family, even the grown up friends to mess around on. A lot of content. Fun for everybody!

The simplicity and fun of Mario Kart 8 is a throwback to the simple and fun Nintendo 64 Mario Kart. Now, with redesigned track homages that also reflect which edition of Mario Kart they're based on, plus new ones unique to MK 8 and ONLINE PLAY, this is the Mario Kart to have. Fantastic fun for one or many. You can even play with the two JoyCons that come with the Switch, so no extra controller necessary. Great job, Nintendo!

This is the same game as the Mario kart for the wiiu but with all the characters, not kart parts, already unlocked and a couple new and awesome multiplayer modes. If you have a couple friends you can sit down with and play this game with, it is completely worth buying even if u own the wiiu version. The new multiplayer modes are the most fun I've ever had playing a Mario kart game just be warned 200cc can be frustrating lol

This is an awesome game, I'm loving the characters in it and the roads are cool.

This game is the APEX of what mario kart could be. Though the network issues are varying based on users and their sh***ernet. The game is a beautiful port with expanded features that will make you hate your friends all over again. If you don't have any friends, no worries, the CPU racers will supplant real ones just fine in their automated rage against you. 5 out of 5 for being exactly what you love and HATE about Mario Kart.

This game is fantastic just like nearly every mario kart in the series. The switch as a console just enhances this mario kart experience. I like how it includes a lot (maybe all) of the classic courses, I still haven't gotten through this whole game simply because I only bust it out when friends are around. Next to smash bros, this game is a nice 2nd for multiplayer games on the switch.

The only thing I can say bad is the fact that you cannot transfer your Actt from WiiU or at least that I have found. I completed almost all of this game on WiiU and now I have to do it again. Otherwise this game is awesome. New tracks!!! Characters!!!

If you're a fan of the Mario Kart series, then you'll love this one. Amiibos work with it too and unlock special rider outfits for your Miis according to which characters' amiibos you use. The one complaint I have is that I wish the online multiplayer options were a bit more robust. That said, you can play splitscreen online multiplayer which is a big plus these days. Most games have foregone this option. Thanks Nintendo! :)

This is another game that provides endless fun, just like Super Smash Bros. I doubt anything else needs to be said due to the nostalgia involved with it.

Just joy playing this game. It's a everybody game whether you're alone playing to unlock new carts or beating your own time. Or, my personal favorite, playing with your kids, trying to see if my supermario kart skills from the 90's can hold up against their younger reflexes.

Both the kids and husband love it. Bright colors, appropriate for all ages.
