Let me first start off by saying this is simply a great Mario Kart game. The Knockout tour is a blast, grand prix is as fun as always, and the unlockables are fun. But this game is NOT worth the $80 I spent on it.... at least not yet. My hope is that Nintendo supports this game with DLC updates throughout the years, which I believe could make it worth the $80 I spent. As it stands right now, I would advise waiting until it goes on sale or grab a used copy for cheaper.

Ive logged in about 5 hours of this game. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Its different style of MK8 and others and that is a good thing. I mostly play the cups. I like the level interconnected layout. Graphically it is much better than Mk8 for sure. Characters are more expressive. Level design and details are a way above Mk8. Overall i think if you like mario kart and felt the old tried n true formula need a kickstart, Mario kart world should provide that. 5/5 from me

I really like the pace of this Mario Kart. The technical gameplay is refreshing and makes it really fun to play and watch! There is more chaos in each race and its double the racers which is 24 total. It does seem to be lacking some things but I feel like that is because of the free roam being bland. Some people may like it but I find it to not have a lot to offer in that mode. There are missions that are pretty simple. Would recommend picking up for any Switch 2 owner!

If you buy a Nintendo Switch 2, I feel like you HAVE to buy this game. It's almost a requirement. And that's not a bad thing. It's just really good. My family has been playing this game off and on since we got our Switch 2 a few months ago and we're still finding new locations in the open world side of the game!

Whats not to love?? Except this Mario Kart will create enemies REAL quick! Phenomenal game but be careful playing around your little ones especially if you have a bad mouth lol. 10/10 great game would recommend it to anyone tho!

This game i would think, is the most iconic game of nintendo switch 2. It it has the most iconic thing in the game, knockout tour, and most of the features of mario kart 8. The graphics are way better than the mario kart 8. You would enjoy this game even if it costs like $80

I picked up the game at the midnight release and it’s been so much fun since. Such a huge jump from Mario kart 8. The game feels very refreshing with so many skins to choose from. The new knockout mode is probably one of the best things to come out of the Mario kart series.

A breath of fresh air for Mario Kart! The open world dynamic and intermissions are two new features that really make this game shine! It is the classic Mario Kart feel, with some modern changes! The 4k resolution at 60FPS is exactly what puts this game over the top over any other Mario Kart game in the series!

While $80 the overall entertainment and online competition make up for a lot of it. It'll definitely get chaotic during some courses as the mass of other drivers can definitely get competitive but that's what makes these games so fun. So if you have a Switch 2 and are looking for a fun game to enjoy co-op and online this is definitely a good one to look at.

An already great game becomes even better! Awesome addition to the Mario Kart family. Best muti-player game out there!

Wasn’t sure about the open world Mario kart but after playing it for a bit I find it hard to put down. Battle mode is a lot of fun and the knockout tour adds a fun new twist in addition to the traditional Grand Prix. Also this has to be one of the best rainbow road levels they have ever done!

An amazing first party Nintendo Switch 2 game! Already about 50 hours in and am obsessed! Between Grand Prix, Knockout Tour and Free Roam, there is numerous modes to play with hours upon hours of gameplay. Great Mariokart game in the series!!

Live the game, great slew of characters and only issue is the amount of all players can get a bit crowded.

Dope dope game!! Best Mario Kart so far!The power ups and the race tracks are even better than last time.The graphics and the music are pretty cool too and free roam brings this game to the next level.I would recommend this game to everyone.

personally i like it, i heard a lot of debate regarding this online and it’s a Mario Kart game. I played this with friends multiple times and enjoyed it. the visuals are nice, the open world is super fun and unlocking costumes is fun too. i really enjoy the act of in game unlock able items versus paid dlc. its a dying art that many video games don’t do anymore

Mario Kart World is really fun for the Nintendo Switch 2. I really like the free roam mode as it lets see the map from a different view never seen before. The other races are fun and hold true to classic Mario Kart.

This game is an essential if you have a switch 2. Great single player and multiplayer content. Hours and hours of fun already! The new driving mechanics, open world, and race modes are ultra fun!

I picked this up on launch, with the console, and I enjoyed it quite a lot when I didn’t have anything unlocked, and I had people to play with. But once you unlock everything, and if you don’t have people to play with, it loses its charm and fun. But pushing aside all of that, it’s a phenomenal family and friends game, for sure
