    An enchanting and worthy sequel

For a long awaited sequel, Disney chose wisely to keep things simple and tight. Emily Blunt is a worthy successor to Julie Andrews iconic character, embodying both spirit and heart that certainly makes this movie special. The UHD is a good way to go for this release, though it isn’t leaps and bounds better than its standard 1080p counterpart—more subtle upticks than anything else. Well worth a purchase nonetheless.

Often a sequel to a classic falls flat and is a huge disappointment to fans of the first one. This film, however, did not disappoint. The casting was excellent, the cameos were fun (The original Bert - I typed the actor’s name but both his first name and last name were flagged for inappropriate language - c’mon guys that ‘s his name), and the film was fresh but still kept the spirit of the original.

I have seen this movie 10+ times in the theater and it never got old. I consistently walked out of the theater feeling happy and humming the tunes. Couldn't wait for the video release and was waiting for the doors to open on the day of it's release. This is a wonderful movie that slyly pays homage to it's predecessor in various, smile-inducing ways. Can't wait to introduce this movie to a bunch of my friends.

I saw Mary Poppins when i was 8 yrs old. so i was very skeptical when I heard they made a sequal. How does one live up to that caliber of acting, music, and whimsy. Was very surprised by Mary Poppins Returns. They did an excellent job staying true to the look and feel of the original. It was as if 50 yrs melted uaway and I was a kid again. So wonderful to see cameos by Dick VanDyke and Angela Landsbery.

I came in not knowing the difference between the different TVs. The salesperson instantly greeted my kids and I. He proceeded to ask what I was looking for in a tv. After I explained it to him him made solid recommendations and tied those recommended products back to my requests. Overall he made sure I was comfortable setting everything up. Great experience and will definitely be back for future needs.

At first, I enjoyed the movie with the exception of the "REAL" Mary Poppins not being Mary Poppins. About halfway into the movie, Mary Poppins became the REAL Mary Poppins. Everything I had hoped for became better than I had expected, total Disney Magic of knowing how to give folks what they want and what they need! We'll be watching this one over and over again!

Truly enjoyed this as much as the original. It is rare that I enjoy a sequel as much as the original--especially when there have been so many years since the original was produced--but this is one exception. The music was delightful and the action fun. Loved the appearance of Dick VanDyke. It would have been even better if somehow Julie Andrews had participated.

Since this movie is a continuation from the 1964 Marry Poppins I would recommend watching that first. But you could easily watch this film and get sucked into the wonderful music and story and not realize this is a continuation movie. Kids will love it. And if you have seen the first movie. You will be tickeld to see how the old was carried over into this movie. Cheers!

This movie is very enjoyable and so much fun just like the original. Emily Blunt is fantastic as Mary Poppins and she certainly had big shoes to fill but she knocks it out of the park. The supporting cast around her is also amazing which includes a few small cameos from certain actors. Overall, this movie is a lot of fun and I highly recommend it.

Ok so full disclosure I haven’t watched the movie yet. So I can’t comment on the quality of the film. But the steelbook is very attractive. Whereas the Mary Poppins steelbook is vibrant red, this one is a lovely blue and that’s a nice contrast. The sketchy style of art looks really nice. I wish it was just Emily as Mary on the front but considering the standard versions of the movie are just Mary, I can see why they wanted to differentiate.

I liked this movie. Not nearly as much as the original, sad to say. I miss the Sherman brothers. They really worked their magic for the original. I loved when Mr. Van D appeared. Almost cried. (I had to change it to Mr. because apparently Best Buy thought I was using inappropriate language. Really? It's a name. A rather famous name.)(Apparently that wasn't good enough. Even the last name was considered inappropriate. Just changed it to D.)

I was somewhat skeptical at first, since the original is one of my favorite movies of all time, but I trusted the Disney organization, and I was pleasantly surprised. The movie is great, and if you're familiar with the original, this is a bit different, but up to the same high quality as the first. You will ENJOY ! Good job to the Disney organization.

I looked for this movie at Wal-Mart, and couldn't find it at two locations. Granted, I did not look extensively. However, here at Best Buy I found it very quickly, which I appreciated. It's a good movie; there are some things about it that I'm not the biggest fan of, but overall it is a good movie, and my experience in getting it was great!

It is hard to do a sequel to a classic, but the creators have done an admirable job. Emily Blunt is excellent in a role that no one should be asked to fill. Lin-Manuel is good as the story teller. The special effect scenes are stunning and overcame the adult story line. Not totally original but a wonderful way to spend two hours plus.

    Disney Classic

Mary Poppins Returns is great entertainment, typical classic Disney. Very enjoyable music, different than the original but a very similar type storyline. 4K UHD Disc is acceptable but definitely not a reference quality. Physical disc is HDR, however, the digital version is Dolby Vision, which I prefer, and don't understand why Disney does this on several of their discs, not putting the Dolby Vision on the hard copy.

    Mary Poppins Returns - Amazing...Visually.

Mary Poppins Returns - Amazing...Visually. The movie itself doesn't quite hold up vs. the original classic. But is that a bad thing? It's it's own stand-alone feature. Not a sequel, not a re-make. On that note, it's very enjoyable. So good in 4K at home - especially on a large HD screen. I wish Disney still supported 3D releases in the US like they do in the UK. But imports often play here without special equipment.

Great movie, sequel did not disappoint. Loved the Banks children & wonderful acting of the Banks grandchildren. Mary Poppins is my favorite movie & now much add this sequel to my list of favorites! Movie was very colorful and costumes were fantastic. But I did miss the bird lady... although the balloon lady was a great addition.

We saw Mary Poppins Returns in the theatre with our grand kids and they loved it. We purchased the movie so the grand kids could watch it with us at home. They still loved it and had a great time. The music and dancing are very good but not quite as good as in the first movie. Still a really good movie and well worth the price.

It is a good entertainment with family and have some heartfelt moments on the movie. It is not a perfect movie but it brings a good discussion on how we adults should handle problems with the kids, as sometimes we are overprotective. There are some funny moments as well, so good time to pass by the time watching with family.

The Movie was doomed to be compared to something that is for all intents and purposes perfect. And while the musical numbers may not reach the grand catchiness of the original it’s not for lack of trying. The story is a bit deeper and adult oriented and my only real complaint is the addition of a “villain” to the story. The final scenes with a great character returning is worth it for that alone.
