Not as good as previous entires, worth playing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don't dislike it as much as many reviews did, and I think it's a good game. It feels disappointing, because there's a lot to live up to with Mass Effect's greatness, but offers more exploration, fun combat, and cool worlds. Worth getting if you like the series.

Original Trilogy is better but this good too!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The original Mass Effect trilogy is a gaming classic, so it will be hard to top- with that being said this is pretty good so far. I have not beat it yet but I have around 28 hours in the game. It has great graphics especially on the PS Pro using HDR and I'm enjoying the story so far. The combat system is really good also. You have a lot more options compared to the original trilogy. Now the bad- they only introduced 2 new races. WTH a new solar systems and you could only come up with 2 new races that differ from the original trilogy? Come on Bioware! Also the animations need a lot of work. As of this review they have put out a new patch to address some of the animations good job. So right now the game is about a 8 for me. I would say catch it on sale if you can wait. I would only recommend this to hardcore Mass Effect fan such as my self.

Mass Effect
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really liked this game. Despite some of the initial bugs which it seems all games have these days. I did not have a problem with the facial animations that everyone else did. I honestly did not ever notice anything. The first I heard about it was when I want a Let's Play and people were complaining. But this is a great mass effect game, with just enough innovation it feels new but sticks to its roots. I enjoyed this game more than ME1 and ME3. Give it a try

Great game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I never got the opportunity to play the Mass effect 1 - 3, so this is my first game. I gotta say, this game has been a great intro into the series. I'm hoping they remaster M.E 1 - 3 for ps4

Good start to the new saga
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There have been a lot of bad reviews of this game. I think that people get lost in the world to much and I ended up doing the same. There are so many side quests I felt like I was playing an ubisoft open world game. If you do buy this pace yourself on side missions and focus on the main story, you will thank yourself later for it.

A fresh start to the series
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Andromeda is a bit glitchy but overall it is a decent addition to the mass Effect series and gets fun the farther you get. It applies new dynamics and is a fresh start but has elements that stay true to the series.

Good game not as good as original trilogy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a fun game and will be giving tons of entertainment for completionists. Overall is cannot hold a candle to the original trilogy especially considering mass effect 2 was one of the best games of this decade

Solid entry
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went into this without bias. I never played the original trilogy. The voice acting, story, graphics, characters, and environments are just amazing. Only flaw is there are numerous technical issues with game.

I enjoy the game, but there are some glitches...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I very much enjoy playing the game, and the story line is fun to follow so far. As other online reviews for gamers have said, the first few hours are slow, but then the action starts to pick up and you spend a lot of time exploring the worlds and fighting the bad guys. There are glitches. I have seen odd character movements, and flying rocks, etc, that make the game feel unpolished. At times I swore at the screen regarding who in the heck designed this. You spend a lot of time inn the nomad, and the driving physics are off. In general, I am glad I have the game and I am enjoying it. I think the programmers could have spent more time on it, and made it a much better, more cohesive game with a little more effort.

So far a good game!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I'm about 20 hours in, and so far I'm really enjoying the game. There are some really good additions to the ME world many of us have come to love. I will not deny that there are a few things that they could have done better -- facial expressions, IE -- but if you're going to let something so minor ruin your outlook on a game that is so incredibly detailed, then maybe you need to reevaluate your gaming priorities. Very interested in seeing how the rest of the game goes.

A New Low For BioWare, Still Has Some Fun In It
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a longtime BioWare loyalist, and have been since the original KOTOR game came out for X-Box back in the day. There are numerous issues, including not being able to access their servers for any of the online/multiplayer aspects of the game, as well as some major bugs, though none have broken the game for me (yet). 3/4 of the way through the game, I feel I can weigh in. One, you need patience to get to the good stuff. Like 7 hours of gameplay level patience, at least for completionist explorers like myself. There are some amazingly well-done missions, and some horribly typical ones too. Despite all the many legitimate issues about this game, I love the format and I'm still having fun with it. To keep this brief, I'll bullet point the good and the bad. Positives -More of the same. If you like the way BioWare makes games there's still a lot to love, from exploration to some interesting characters to the (Suikoden-style, Inquisition-style) sense of building a coalition of allies against a large threat. -Best combat system in a Mass Effect game ever. -Some great characters, moments and decisions with no more "good/bad" "paragon/renegade" options.. in fact it feels more like the conversation choices from Alpha Protocol, which I loved. - There's still lots of game. I've been playing for 50+ hours as a completionist and still haven't finished it yet. Bad - Yes, the facial animations got hit with an ugly stick. It's a SERIOUS drop in quality from DA:I and even in some ways looks like the game came out in 2003. This is one of the bigger flaws, especially when compared to previous BioWare efforts. Yes, they've always had janky recycled body animations that they've been using forever and ever, but almost no effort has been put into the facial expressions this time around and it shows. -Buggy/unplayable multiplayer issues. -More of the same. This story doesn't feel new at all, despite the new galaxy setting. You still have your cloak and dagger element, the large galactic threat, the ancient alien civilization ruins that are technologically advanced, etc etc. It's easily the weakest story put out by BioWare yet (and I liked DA:2 to give perspective on that). Bottom Line Is it worth playing? Yes, if you're a fan of the BioWare formula and RPG gamestyle. And it might be worth waiting a few months or a year to buy/play it if you want to have them iron out all the major flaws of the game. After I finish my playthrough I don't intend to touch the game again until all this bull has been fixed.

A Return to the Mass Effect Universe
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Mass Effect Andromeda will please fans of the series with its familiar combat, rich story, and vast worlds. For the uninitiated, play Mass Effect 1 first. Its a better introduction to the universe.

Fair criticism, but still great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The reviews are true true but this game still manages to be an awesome space adventure. Yes the menus are wonky, and yes the facial animations really stand out after playing a game like Horizon: Zero Dawn, but fortunately the story and the feeling of exploration offset the shortcomings. It's tough to compare to the ME series, but in a vacuum this is still a great game.

Amazing game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Despite what ppl have said against this game it is simply stunning. It's not your usual Shepard dominating, shooter. It's an exploration game. You're meant to explore and find out if there is a world for you species; you find out more about what happened as you go. While animation can be weird at times, the game play is still fun and satisfying. Def a must have/play.

Far behind the originals
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Far behind the original trilogy. But still a decent game regardless. For the best RPG this generation, Witcher 3 is where you should look first. If you have. Itching else to play, this should keep u interested for a while

This Game is Very Expansive
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A very large game with creative storyline to explore. Main complaints are the face animations and there are still some glitches they need to work out. All in all a fun ride.

Great game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There are still some bugs and improvements that are needing to be updated. EA did say they are working on it, but did not say when. Regardless, story and gameplay is great.

Vastly underrated game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Andromeda had a massive overhype but ended up great anyways. I'd recommend it if you dont have high expectations. Because the story, gameplay and graphics are awesome.

Great game with minor flaws that don't distract
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Like many reviews have said ad nauseam, yes there are a few flaws in the visual sense, with awkward animations. The dialogue is long in between fighting opportunities, but the fighting is nicely done using a cover system. It's not flawless, but still works well. This is not my first ME game, but I'm not a huge follower of the series, either. I found my time very enjoyable, and have logged many hours being an completionist. And there is much to complete on every planet. Take your time, forge your weapons and armor, and the game will reward you. The purchase is worth it, and I have enjoyed it all.
