In other words, it's a solid entry in the series. It also has its share of bugs and issues but overall I'm content with my purchase. For someone brand new to the series I definitely recommend playing the original three games first if for no other reason than to get all of the backstory of the various races within the Galaxy. I haven't played multiplayer so I can't really comment on whether it's any good.

I really was discouraged by the initial reviews, but after playing for 40 hours, i find myself really enjoying the game. True, there are glitched, bugs, etc..., but the game still has that "Mass Effect" feel, bugs and all.

I'm a fan of the Mass Effect series of games and I knew I wanted to play Andromeda the moment it was released. If you're a fan of the Mass Effect series, then I'd highly recommend this game as it provides some improvements over the originals. Though there are some issues with the graphics, I hope that a patch will be released to fix these minor issues but nothing to ruin the gaming experience.

This game definitely lived up to my expectations! Yes there's bugs here and there but, it doesn't stop me from exploring the vast beautiful planets it has to offer. Story line is just as good as the previous trilogy!

This game is so far, the worst in the series. The animation is horrible, and the voice acting is sub par, at best. Combat is mediocre, but the story isnt all that bad. As big as this title is, you never would expect them to completely drop the ball like this.

New story line, new races and same feel in gameplay. The graphics can be lacking compared to other titles out right now but the gameplay is very much in depth and fun to play. Multiplayer is tough and you will need a full team to start to complete missions when you start a new character. Annoying part is guns from single player do not carry over and you have to level up every character type.

awesome graphics and great gaming and very intense

This game is very enjoyable. It has a great story and the character interaction is interesting. I find myself spending hours exploring and performing quests on each planet. Yes there are a few graphical issue but not as bad as the ones you see on Youtube. The facial graphics a not great but acceptable. I am not playing this game for facial graphics but for the exploration and adventure.

Let me preface this by saying I haven't been playing anything else recently. It's a very in-depth and enjoyable game. However, it is as buggy as I've ever seen a game. I've had to stop playing some nights just because everything would freeze up or my guy would be stuck running in place. Stupid, little things but still annoying. I expect EA will be patching up the game soon though.

As a big Mass Effect and RPG fan I am really enjoying this game. Don't believe all the bad reviews. There is a lot to like in Andromeda. Amazing combat, interesting story and locations, and amazing graphics.

I don't put faith in a lot of critical reviews anymore, but I was bummed to see scores for this game lower than what I had hoped. Despite that, I still bought it. I put 78 hours into the game and loved (mostly) every minute. I'd say this game really is a cross between Dragon Age: Inquisition and the first Mass Effect - lots of world building with pretty fun combat. The devs have said they will also be updating the game to address areas that have received criticism, so this game could change dramatically from what it currently is. Either way, in the shape it is now, I definitely recommend it if you're a fan of Bioware or the Mass Effect series. Also, multiplayer is still amazing and even better than what it was in 3.

Mass Effect has always been a buggy series. I think Andromeda is the lease polished of them and I've run into a number of incredibly frustrating issues - bugged quests, enemies that need to be killed but have dropped through terrain, etc. At the same time, the main quest is very entertaining and there's a lot to explore. Despite its flaws, I've enjoyed my time with Andromeda.

The game is really good but there are a few glitches that are being fixed.

Besides carrying the mass effect title this game has little resemblance to the previous trilogy. If you compare this game to the other 3 it is lacking but if you take it for what it is then it is a pretty solid game. Think of it as Batman Origins, it's not part of the trilogy (Asylum, City, and Knight) but a stand alone game. And as a stand alone it is a quality game.

I read a review indicating that we couldn't choose the partners in each battle, that only the human ones were always available. This is not the case though. You can select them before each battle, but the UI is a little more confusing than in previous Mass Effect versions. Overall, this is an awesome game.

About 30 hours in and while the animations aren't as game breaking as the internet states (most of the time) there are other problems with this game. I love the first three so I can look past them for the underlying aspects like the universe lore, sci fi exploration, and improved combat. A wait for sale for most games and maybe they will have a few patches out by then.

Mass Effect: Andromeda has been bashed by reviewers, gamers, and haters. While a disappointment to fans and those who anticipated the release with high hopes, it is still worth checking out. It is a substantial time commitment, a cost sometimes more painful than actual money, but won't disappoint in the areas of action, exploration, and science fiction.

This game is amazing. I heard several bad review, but I believe they’re wrong. Having several worlds to explore is very cool and if your thinking in getting it, stop thinking and just buy it. Kinda disapointed that the steelbook came with some scratching (light), but it still looks cool.

I like the upgraded graphics and the combat. I beat part two dident really like part one.

I've been a fan since the first. But a lot like the first mass effect this one comes with some bugs. Now since update 1.06 a lot of those have been fixed but the biggest thing is still the emotionless faces throughout the game. Other then that you got yourself a pretty awesome 3rd person shooter that will last you for about 40 hours.
