As a huge fan of Metallica this is a must have...one of their best albums...recorded in not the best quality unfortunately.

The only reason I didn’t give five stars is because it’s Metallica.

Their best album on vinyl! Great sound. Works as advertised.

Weight of the vinyl and packaging is impressive. The sound however sounds muddy with this pressing. Just crank it up and enjoy the heavy metal bass and forget about the high ends.

I just went to Best Buy to get myself a new printer, and as I walked toward checkout, I saw a vinyl display. I figured I'd flip through it and see what kind of old school goodies they might be pushing. I flipped once (sorry to whatever LP that was up front,but I don't remember what you were) and what did my eyes see? Fate. My eyes saw fate; Metallica's Master of Puppets; my favorite album by my favorite band. Well, I'm not one to ignore a sign like that, so I made the purchase, despite my current budgetary plight. When I got this holy opus home, I very carefully slit open the plastic seal to retrieve the record from its captivity. I prepared the nearly forty year old needle for a spectacular journey, as it has been resting for many moons. When the needle dropped and the metal gods began to speak, it was clear that this is what my life had been missing all along. This remaster sounds amazing. Cliff Burton's bass is absolutely majestic! Do not be deterred by the word remaster. This is as amazing as you remember back in 1986. Buy this for yourself! Buy this for your friends! Buy this for your family! I plan to purchase the rest of Metallica's 80s records on vinyl as well. Stock up, Best Buy!
