The smoker is an easy unit to use and provides a lot of space for meats to be smoked. If you look at other reviews online there is an issue with the temperature control. The control was engineered extremely poorly and does short out. The system will trip your breaker if you have the smoker on high or if it is on for long periods of time. Unfortunately, any time you smoke meat it will be on for long periods of time. For me after 3 hours it likes to shut down. After it cools down it will usually stay on for another 3 hours. I recommend spending a little more money and getting a better unit. The grease trap drain is also poorly engineered. The bottom of the smoker is flat and not curved to the drain so the smoker leaks from all sides. Left a four grease stains on my driveway. I am returning the smoker to best buy today.
