the good is it reads fast and is easy to use small unit stores easily the bad is the display is not back-lit, so it is harder to see in a dark area overall i would recommend at this price point.

Nice look and slim. Perfect for roasting. Works right every time.

My dh and I both like this product. The lanyard that comes on it is easily tied into a loop for hanging in a convenient place, The lid snaps on and does a good job of protecting the probe while not in use. The probe is small but sturdy and the readout large and clear. The only niggle is the plastic protector over the readout...flimsy and cheesy. Started to peel after 2cnd use, but NOT a deal-breaker. They probably should have left it off altogether. Still glad I bought it though.

Gives an accurate reading quickly. I compared the measurements to an old analog meat thermometer and the readings were within 5 degrees of each other.

The Maverick - Fast Read Digital Probe Thermometer was a great buy from Best Buy. I use it on the grill and on the stove. It's handy and easy to clean.
