    the bearing in the rotisserie gear that turns the plate to cook on is very loud (squealing noise when turning only 2 months old and broke already)

    This microwave is super quiet and heats up food crazy faster than other microwaves I've owned. The performance is amazing and I cannot be any happier. The space is perfect and love the extra grate for heating up multiple meals at a time.

    Put it in 11/30 very pleased with it,saw on other reviews ,fan was loud,but I do not think it is,must be talking about exhaust fan,It is no more louder than the ge profile that it replaced, The fan on microwave itself is very Quiet, I set it up for roof venting,So I would say a very good microwave for the money.

    Just under 2 yrs old and needs to be replaced!

    We have all Maytag appliances that we purchased under 2 years ago for our newly remodeled kitchen. This microwave was great at first and we are now having the same problem everyone else is with the door. If the internal light doesn't go on, the microwave won't go on. The door is shut, it says its open. I did a reset and its working but making this ungodly growling noise. I called Maytag to find out what next steps are and since we are out of the 1 yr warranty, nothing is covered and its probably cheaper to buy a new one. This is not good customer service especially now reading all of the same issues! It should be addressed to all those having it. I would not recommend and would love to hear from Maytag!

    Noisy Fan - Poor Exhaust

    My microwave replaced my old Whirlpool brand, using the outside vent system. This model did a very poor job at exhausting the steam from foods cooking below on my range. The fan was very, very noisy. You could barely stand the noise, even when the fan was on low. The glass turntable insert constantly popped out of position. The touchpad feels cheap versus Whirlpool Gold, which has a glass touchpad.

    Big waste of money

    We bought this from our local Best Buy paying 433.87 after installation, the oven, haul away and home delivery. Two years and 3 months later it's a boat anchor. Display is cold and dark after stating we needed to open and close the door before it would heat. We did but it kept displaying the same message. Unplugged it, turned circuit off per Maytag customer service line, still nothing. It is no longer made and you can't get parts. It is useless.

    VERY UNHAPPY

    Item is less than 2 years old and won't heat. Service call is $150 plus parts and labor!! I've never had a micro give out. We thought we couldn't go wrong with a Maytag product, guess we were VERY wrong. The only thing still under warranty is the magnetron and they say it could be lots of things causing the problem. Can't pay $!50 to fine out. VERY disappointed in Maytag.

    Open/Close Door

    Loved it at first, but then it started. Open / Close door error. We were able to get it to work, eventually, with repeated attempts, but haven't gotten beyond this error in a week. Also, every time we turn around, the stovetop light is out. Did a good job cooking, when we could start it. But this microwave is done.
