This dishwasher can hold a lot of dishes. There is plenty of room between the racks for tall plates. The top rack can hold taller cups as well. I think that the racks and connections are sturdy. It gets hot enough I sanitize everything, so I feel like all of the dishes get clean. It is pretty quiet. The cycles last a bit longer than I was expecting.

We've only had it for about a month now but are very happy with it so far. This dishwasher doesn't have some of the fancy features of the others, like the adjustable top shelf, but it doesn't need them. It has plenty of space up top for a big mixing bowl without sacrificing bottom rack space. It seems to be very thoughtfully designed. Drying is just ok, but we live in a humidifier area. It does dry better than we expected but plastics still have a little water most times.
It's so nice to be able to throw in a stainless pot and have it come out clean. It does however require good detergent to work to it's full potential. Cascade complete works like a dream, but Palmolive Eco didn't get the dishes completely clean.
I would definitely recommend. And made in USA is rare and a huge plus!

I absolutely love this dishwasher. It’s clean lines, and elegant looks are very pleasing to me. The machine works exceptionally well and is very quiet compared with most other machines. The dishes, glasses, pots and every item seem to come out perfectly clean.
I especially love how deep the top rack is for loading larger items.

Cleans well. door is stiff and a bit hard to open. especially for 8 yr old daughter. silverware bin is poor design and the slots don't stay up easily. seems very cumbersome. Install and maytag store says to only expect 6-8 yrs service.. last maytag got 20 yrs... they say they don't build they as good anymore. Very complicated underneath compared to older model. Long cycle time. 2.5 hrs

I have searched high and low for this model dishwasher after seeing it at another store. It was difficult to find, so I was thrilled Best Buy had ONE left in stock! This is the best dishwasher I have ever owned. It is easy to load and run. It is quiet as well. My dishes come out sparkling clean. The filter is easy to pop off and clean as needed. The stainless steel is easy to keep clean. So far my best kitchen appliance purchase.

We ordered this dishwasher online. We received it at the date and time specified in the online ordering process. This dishwasher doesn't have a lot of wash modes. It's easy to use. It is quiet. It does a good job of washing and even more, it dries everything, including plastic cups and bowls.
I recommend Best Buy - the ordering process was straight forward and the delivery was as promised.

Very good quality dishwasher. Dish rack has a basic layout but fits dishes fine. Runs quiet. It has a 4 hour start delay. Running a normal cycle with extended heat cycle takes about 3 hours. Dishes come out clean and dry using one dishwasher tablet.

I'm really impressed with this dishwasher. It does a wonderful job cleaning the dishes and it's so quiet I have to check that it's running. We've only had it a short time, but so far it's great. I'm very happy with it.

Our old dish washer was 23 years old and was getting pretty warn out and replacement parts were outrageously priced, I could fix it myself but after buying all the parts needed, I was very close to the price of this one. So why not get a new one and a good warranty with it. It has been great; the dishes are spotless, and it is much quieter, and the dishes actually are dry when it's done.

So far so good. So quiet that I thought it wasn’t working. Don’t have to turn up the TV when it runs. Cleans very well without WiFi. Metal is thinner than older unit I had. I’m careful with opening the door fully. Thus the 4 stars vs 5 stars.

The dishwasher does a nice job of getting even some of the dirtiest dishes clean. It is not too loud when it runs. My only complaint is that I get an error code every once in a while where it wont drain the water. Luckily if I reset the machine and run it again it will clear the error and drain the water.

Nice Machine but Missing Required Part??

We purchased this dishwasher to replace a 15 year old Maytag unit. I installed it myself and just so you know a main part is missing, which is a 90 degree 3/4 to 3/8 valve. The crazy thing is that is clearly says in the instructions that this part is required but not included in the box. I would sacrifice the free Cascade gel Maytag includes for a $6 brass valve. Keep in mind the brass valve will fit over a plastic inlet which seems cheap. Be careful not to cross tread it because the cheap plastic inlet is useless. Thankfully finished the install and the machine runs smooth and quiet and looks stylish. Also the door is a bit stiff to open and close as well. Overall a good machine so far and decent price tag.

Yes, buy this dishwasher. No need to rinse anything. Just scrape off large items, and place in dishwasher. It will then quietly clean your dishes, leaving them shining clean. The dishwasher holds quite a few dishes. We usually run it every other day. It truly gets all of your dishes clean.

Maytag dishwasher and install kit

This unit runs so quietly that I have to look at the control panel to determine if it is running. Loading it up for a wash is simple and the cycle selections are nice, although I have only used "auto" so far. Squeaky clean results. Five stars for the unit, itself.
Now then, the install kit caused some problems, for me.
1) there were no ring-connectors; I had a bunch of them from other electronics projects, so no biggie.
2) the power cord was not color coded for hot, neutral and ground; I spent a few minutes testing with a meter to make the correct determinations
3) the cord plug required making a larger access hole; the alternative is to wire up after roving through the enclosure, but it was easier for me to enlarge the hole a bit, since I had a tool to route the hole.
I rate the skill level at 2 out of 5, only because there was some technical issues, otherwise it is 1 out of 5.

So far so good. The clean good, the sound is definitely audible, but we didn't pay for the silent model. I do like the button set up. The buttons are in a small cavity and not flush, this prevents buttons from accidentally being pressed by walking passed. (my parents the buttons are flush which looks cool however buttons are unintentionally pressed all the time and the dishwasher will start running)
Overall for the price range this is a solid deal. if you need or want a quieter wash and or more features more money can buy more things. If you wash your dishes at night and the sounds doesn't bother you and you want clean dishes certainly consider this model.

Quiet but not too quiet

I like the stainless steel finish and that it is much quieter than my Whirlpool dishwasher that was built in 2001. This dishwasher is not as quiet as my In-laws Kenmore dishwasher and that fine with me. The front display makes it easy for me to keep up with progress of the wash cycle.

Well, every other dishwasher I have owned was probably made in the 90s, so maybe take this with a grain of salt.
Ok, so this thing actually gets dishes clean! Not just regular clean, like holy crap did we get new dishes clean. Aaaand, you dont have to hand wash them first! I had a pile of filthy dishes piled up in the sink since our crappy old dishwasher died, and no one here was going to hand wash and dry anything. So to test this thing out I put it all in and set it to power wash. Three and a half hours later I had sparkly clean dishes.
So yeah it takes a bit longer than an old dishwasher, but totally worth it. You usually run them before you go to bed anyway.
As far as noise, you can hear it when it lets water in, if you listen real hard. It sounds like water running through a pipe. Because it is. Other than that it is basically silent. I didn't stand there and listen to the full three hour cycle, but it made less noise than any dishwasher I've ever heard.
Go ahead and get yourself one, I have had good luck with Maytag stuff. It seems to hold up pretty well.
