This is my first Maytag fridge (but way not the first Maytag appliance). My sister had a different model of Maytag fridge, and it worked well for about 9 years, after which compressor broke. But, let me tell you that Maytag is the only American company in this price range that offers factory warranty (on some components) that goes beyond your usual 1 year. For free. For this model, it is compressor. Which is why it was my choice. It even has a nice-looking stainless steel tag stating so on the fridge. So far, everything looks and works great for the most part (its been a couple of months). The only negative that I have - I can't quite figure out the temperature setting on the fridge part -its either too cold (and everything freezes) or it doesn't feel like its cold enough when you open the door (but nothing ever spoiled, so maybe its just me), also, sometimes there is a lot of moisture inside (when it put the temp higher). I hope this is just the adjustment issue and not the indication of future problems. But, if it turns out to be the compressor, at least I will have the warranty. Taking off one star for it, though, since I do not remember ever having to play with the temp setting so much on any other fridges I had before.

This fridge didn’t work that good since we got it it was opened box and had a dent in one of the doors so it was really cheap I never have problems with open box from bestbuy but this fridge the freezer worked amazing but the fridge never got to temperature

Bought this fridge in outlet store which had very minor damage on size. Performance of this fridge has been really nice. It looks very premium in the house and storage space is perfect.
