Great product. Just had it installed a few weeks ago, but so far it gets the laundry very clean. The controls are simple and the wash options are nice(have not tried all options yet). Compared to my previous washers, it is pretty quiet when running. I would highly recommend this washer.

I’ve used this washing machine for nearly a year now & it works just as it states. Clothes are clean, there have been no issues, easy to program and use, noise has never been an issue. BestBuy did a great job installing it. I also purchased the matching dryer & recommend both.

Love my washer and dryer. They are stacked and on the top floor near the bedrooms! This allowed us to put in an Ikea closet unit designed to our needs to keep things organized. There is no vibrations downstairs sounding like a helicopter is hovering over the house when they are running, even in the highest spin cycle! Love all the choices for soil levels, water temp. and spin speed!

So far, a pretty nice machine, front loader

This is about a month old. When we bought it we did NOT buy the pedestal. I figured it was rip off. and it is a total rip off. But... we learned very quickly that the washer is too low to the ground for a front loader. This is our first front loader ever. Anyhow... we immediately learned we didn't like it. So i went and got a pedestal. That made it better. Being a front loader though... there is still an adjustment getting used to it. It's more difficult to load. we also use the Downy fabric crystals and i'm learning those need to go in first. If you add them last and you have a full load, they fall back out onto the floor. We also hang dry work clothes and anything we don't want to shrink with a dryer. With a front loader, it's more difficult too to take clothing out, piece by piece. Instead you pull out 1 item and 2 fall to the floor. It is what it is. Again, we just need to get used to it. We are not a big fan of all the beeps. Everything you touch beeps. It's too much. This all said... we really do like the machine. So far, it does a really nice job cleaning our clothing and bed linens. I have done my work clothes, hangables, bed linens, comforter, loads of underwear and socks with towels and all that little stuff, and more. I'm happy with it all. I read that because the machine is energy efficient and uses only 4 gallons of water per (cycle or per entire wash? I think it's per cycle with a total of about 10 gal's per entire wash) that the washer "washes" the clothing longer than in the old tub style machines... and that's why it can take 2 or 3 HOURS to wash your clothing, sheets, etc. I programmed my cycle (the machine allows you to configure a cycle and save it. My cycle uses Normal wash with Medium Soil settings, luke warm water and maximum extract. The cycle takes less than an hour. Pretty good. I then set a timer with Alexa and all is good. I like how it does have a light inside. That's a nice feature. I wish the soap dispenser was lower, though. When on the pedestal, it's harder for my wife and son to use it. So we are using tide pods now. Even though this is a Maytag with a "limited" 10 year warranty, we bought the 5 year geek squad warranty. IF the machine makes it 5 years without issue... then I'm sure it will make 10 or 15. Our last Maytag Neptune's lasted 12 years. Washer is still going but it can't handle anything with weight. Even a load of bath towels is now out. UGH. That's why we needed to buy a new washer. Ok, that's all we have for now. As of now, I've run about 15 loads through the machine and i'm happy with the results. thanks

    Pleasantly Surprised

This is my first low water type washer. Did a lot of research and was worried about having such a small amount of water and getting clothes clean. Well, pleasantly surprised to say I am mostly happy with the results. When working properly, it does seem to get clothes cleaner than my old washer. However, there are time that some dirt/food/other stains remain after washing. Usually, they will wipe off with a wet cloth and a small amount of rubbing, so it is not like the machine could not have gotten the stain out. I do contribute it to the low water level. It is like the water did not get to the spot, due to insufficient water level. But, funnily, it does a really good job on cleaning the rest of the material. I am glad I went with a Front loader over a top loader, as working with low water levels the items are more likely to get enough water worked through the material with the falling action compared to the new top loaders without an agitator - check out some of the You-Tube videos, to compare the difference.

Limited use thus far but so far, reliable, quiet, cleans very, very well. The value for the price seems superb. We question the accuracy of some services such as Consumer Reports as they claim machines which rank much higher than this one are top rated despite numerous consumer complaints about reliability, customer service and ESPECIALLY, longevity of the product. This Maytag seems to have a great guarantee. We hope they don't disappoint!. So far (early) so good.

Best washing machine I’ve ever had

Love this washing machine. Old LG front load was having way to many problems and I decided to get a new one instead of paying $200+ to fix it all the time. I originally bought two different too loads from the Kenmore brand and they were the WORST machine ever. My clothes were coming out dirty and I could wash them better with my hands than those machines. Saw the reviews for this machine and I gave it a try. Absolutely love this washing machine, my clothes are coming out cleaner than before, there isn’t any mold forming around the rubber sealing in the tub and after 4 months of owning it, it still works perfectly fine. It’s even using less water than my other washing machines and I haven’t run out of hot water even if I do 7 loads a day!

I couldn't be happier with our new Maytag Washer. It is so quiet compared to the last Washer we had. You could hear the old one through the entire house. This Maytag holds a larger load and cleans so much more efficiently that it is also taking less time to dry than before. The steam function seems to be cleaning better & the Hold Fan is FANtastic to have the ability to keep air moving through the washer after the cycle is finished to keep things from souring until we can move the clothes to the dryer. We read the BestBuy reviews on this and other washers and also read Consumer Reports' reviews that rated this at the top of their front-load washers! Geek Squad delivered and installed and those guys were great! Polite, clean and efficient themselves! Thanks!

I waited to review this washer until I received my utility bills. I live alone and saved a lot on my water bill. A family would save a lot more than I did. It is well worth it to upgrade to high efficiency. It also does a great job getting all the nasty dirt out of my work clothes.

Bought this to replace my Frigidaire. This one is so much better! It is very quiet and doesn't shake the floor when it goes into maximum spin. I know a few have said it's noisy but I don't think so, it is much quieter than the one I had. Large capacity and my clothes come out clean. Cycles run a little longer than what I am used to but if it's saving energy and water I am all for it. Seal around the door has improved significantly. I still wipe it out after each load to avoid mold and mildew and keep the door propped open. I also keep the soap dispenser open to avoid mold and mildew setting in there too. I am very pleased, had to make a quick decision and so far it does everything I ask for.

We have had a Neptune since they came out, when I’d died after 15+ years we switched to this one. Have been greatly pleased with the additional features of this machine. Haven’t heard it vibrate on spin cycle, very quiet and the clothes are coming out very clean. With 2 active children the dirt and smell is gone after washing. Awesome service so far.

After much research, through Consumer Reports and customer reviews, I decided the Maytag Fresh Hold Washer (with matching dryer) was the best option for my needs and my budget. I could not be happier with my decision. My clothes have never been cleaner, softer, or smelled better. And the dryer, my clothes have never dried quicker. Noise is not an issue because my washer/dryer are in the basement. However, I don't think that they make any more noise than any other comparable washer/dryer. I also have not had an issue with 'walking' or off-balance shaking...even with a full load of heavy jeans or towels. If you are having an issue with walking or off-balance, I suggest you check to make sure your unit is level.

I absolutely love my new washing machine! I spent hours online researching machines and found this one to be the best option for what I was looking for. After using it for over a month, I think I made the right choice. It is quiet, efficient and does a great job. It has more bells and whistles than I need, but the price was so unbeatable and the delivery service was fantastic.

This Maytag washer was purchased to replace a 10 year old Bosch washer. I always thought the Bosch washed very well until we got this Maytag. WOW! It does a great job and gets our clothes cleaner then the Bosch did. My boys play travel baseball and we are cleaning a lot of dirt out of white baseball pants. This Maytag washer got out stains that have been there for over a year.

This replaced a 7 year old Samsung that imploded. I can't believe how incredibly smooth and quiet this machine is. Cleans better, with less water and a bigger capacity. Love the my cycle feature as well as the steam option. Best of all, it's union made in the USA. Well worth the extra cost compared to the other set we considered.

This washer is everything I could want! Extremely efficient, simple to operate and for the first time ever, I actually use all the variable settings. My clothes come out better, cleaner and exactly the way I want them too. I cannot believe that I'm so HAPPY with a washing machine! I have to say it's the best purchase I've made in a long time. You won't regret purchasing this one. I didn't and I'm hard to please.
