Stay with Maytag

Had to buy another washer which lasted only 7 years *Whirlpool Cabrio). We still have the Maytag gas dryer 22 yeras old. This one will probably last just as long. Maytag is the best.

First Experience with a Front Loader

I am not very tall (about 5'2") and I have trouble getting all of the clothes out of this washer! Not only do they stick to the sides, but the washer is very deep. Since it is not a top loader, when I open the door, there is not much light inside. If I miss a piece of clothing because it was stuck to the drum and I wash the next load with bleach....well....you get it! I might have to invest in a pedestal and some type of portable lighting.

It takes all day just to wash a few loads and I could get all my laundry done in a day including my bedding with my old one which unfortunately died. Stains even after treating is taking two or three times washing and treating them before they come out where it use to take one wash. Not a big fan of my new washer.
