    Good, as expected from Maytag

Coming from an older Maytag that lasted more than a decade, I was comfortable getting into another Maytag. However realized that all HE washers spin at a very fast rate and that can wrinkle the clothes. Found a setting which does not have the highest spin rates and clothes come out okay. The washer is very large and relatively quiet. My neighbor has a LG which is quieter but I have heard about issues with the LG tub coming apart as the connection point is plastic even though the the whole tub may be stainless. The Maytag full base is plastic and I hope it reduces the stress point compared with LG. Also note that coming from older style washers the wash time is significantly longer. The reason I did not give it 5 stars is because there are many options with high spin that I will never use as it causes wrinkles.

Moving into a new home typically involves a lot of “new.” One of those “new” experiences is major appliances. Having owned several different brands previously, my husband and I thought it time to try another new product. Our choice this time “Maytag.” I will say the Maytag TV ad campaign did play into our decision making but only as a teaser i.e. to get us to look at the Maytag product. We physically inspected this Maytag washer at several locations prior to purchasing it. Relative to other washing machines the deep drum, cleaning options, see-through lid and 10 year warranty, we were sold. Although I have only a few weeks of actual usage, I must say my experience thus far exceeds my initial expectations. What a beast. This thing cleans like there is no tomorrow. I am totally elated. If you are in the market for a new washing machine, check out this Maytag washer. You’ll be glad you did.

I just purchased this a month ago and am satisfied so far. You're able to get a load an a half of laundry done at one time and very quiet. I wouldn't recommend this for an elderly couple because of the electronics. It's a little touchy to get turned on.

Love the size of this washer. Allows for washing bedding and larger loads. I had to purchase online water hammer arresters after installing this. Machine is VERY noisy while in operation, so be aware. If this doesn't bother you, this is a great washer

Purchased this Maytag a few years ago. called for service since it was making a squealing sound at the beginning of the load and I felt that the spin cycle at mad was not spinning out the clothes like how it used to when I first got it. The tepair guy came out and did his thing then the next thing I get is an email from geek squad informing me that they are refunding me for this purchase because the cost to repair exceeds the value of the machine. Now I am on a hunt for another machine. I thought maytags are supposed to last a long time but I guess not since it is all computerized. Great service and it was a great machine....while it lasted.

I felt like a happy housewife from the 1950's when getting this new washer (I'm a guy). This thing cleans so well and has so much room inside. You can fit your comforter in it with no issue or worry. And I'll probably never go back to a front-loading washer after this -- the drum on those things get so dirty after time and who wants to keep cleaning them after each use...? This washer also runs pretty quiet and looks great.

Love the large capacity. It is hard to get used to not having an agitator, but I find the clothes are getting clean, & fresh smelling. I like having the extra rinse option. I was manually doing this on my old machine, & now I have that convenience.

Large load capacity is the reason I purchased this machine. And I love the fact that I can do large loads and spend less time doing laundry. It doesn't have an agitator and I wonder if that is good or not. Still undecided on that.

I have always used a front load machine and struggled with the smell. Front loaders have mold and really have no room to clean the clothes. This top load is HUGE - I can wash a full size comforter without worry. I even washed my queen comforter and it was clean. I love the technology and ease of use. I can wash a week's worth of laundry in two loads for four people....amazingly wonderful.

My wife loves the machine we got this one after our 15 yr old Maytag finally quit. Controls are easy to use and without the agitator there is a lot of room for large loads seems to clean very well. Hope this one lasts as long as our last Maytag

The washer works very good except for small loads it doesn't get all the water out of the cloths on spin cycle, the drum is deep for my wife because she is smaller has to get a stool to get he cloths out of the bottom, cleans cloths great.

I used to have a front loader washing machine but the whites never came out white, they looked dinghy. I used bleach, a good detergent and it still did not have a difference. When it finally broke and would cost too much to fix, I decided to get the Maytag. Am I happy? I am thrilled. This machine can take two sets of sheets and two light weight quilts without any problem. It is quiet and efficient. I absolutely love it.

Doesn't use much water so that took some time to get used to for me. Clothes come out clean though. Barrel is deep-sometimes hard to reach items at the bottom. Love the size, feel like I can get more laundry done each load.

After having a bad experience with LG front loader washer and the constant leaking from the door and the service men could never fix it. We knew that we wanted to go back to Maytag and the steam wash on this model is amazing. It's easy to use and cleans very well for our family.
