The tub is HUGE. This machine is replacing a Samsung of the same style that broke down and could not be fixed after a couple of years. Clothes and towels come out way more DRY after the spin cycle. It means a lot less time using the dryer afterwards. It is quiet, and it washes faster than the Samsung as well. The repair man said my Samsung he came to try to work on was the fifth that week just like it.

I've had the Maytag Bravos XL top loader for about a month now and I'm very happy with it at this point. I like the separate Oxi detergent section and can fit a ton into the machine. My only two complaints are that it is very deep and I am short, so it's hard for me to reach inside (but that's more of my problem since I'm short) and the detergent drawer doesn't close all of the way when the lid is open all of the way. You have to hold the lid closed slightly to shut the drawer fully. I had an LG top loader for just under seven years, and it was fine for the first six, and then started to have draining problems. I am hoping this machine will last at least 10 years before I have to replace.

Love love love this washer. One word of caution, it is deep so if you or someone in your family is laterally challenged they may not be able to reach to the bottom of the tub to retract clothes!

I purchased this washing machine after reading all the reviews. There were good and bad. I initially had a front loader and wanted something new. Initially i was very concerned about all the negative reviews but I've had this washer for 2 days now and we love it. its super quiet...except for the humming which isn't even load at all. even the spin cycle is quiet. the only real noise is during the water draining into the drain but since i had a large front loader before i believe that noise was blocking the drain area. I haven't had any issues with clothes not being cleaned properly, or clothes coming out partially dry. I can only chalk that up to people using the wrong wash cycle. I purchased this washer open box and it had no manual so I found the manual on line and followed the instructions. I've even washed bedding and towels. Everything comes our fresh and clean. I will add that i don't use powder soap but liquid soap, so no issues with soap residual being left behind.

Washer is perfect for large families! Runs quietly and is efficient.

Spacious tub. Watched the clothes during clean cycle, due to small agitator on the bottom, notice the clothes did not rotate much top to bottom. Hope the load is getting clean!?

We LOVE this washing machine. It is crazy quiet, does an excellent job cleaning clothes(we’ve never had a problem on a small or large old with the top of the load not getting wet, as others have said), and I love the dispenser for the detergent/softener/oxi. I would highly recommend this washing machine!

This has a very large wash basin. It does not have an agitator in the middle though. It has gotten off balance several times in the month that I have had it. If it does finish the cycle the clothes are ringing wet and there is NOT a spin cycle as a selection (there is rinse and spin but that is a waste in my eyes). It has stopped the cycle a few times and alarmed because it was out of balance. Not sure I like this washer but I have only had it a month and it is a learning process not to have an agitator.

I have had thi MAytag Washer for closecto a year now and I love it. The clothes come out clean and I have noticed a huge decrease in my water bill since owning this machine. The tub can handle a huge load of clothes with various cycles being used . My second Maytag in 15 years and just like my previous Maytag it didn’t disappoint.

We needed a new washing machine as our old one died. Have had this machine for 3-4 weeks and love it...large capacity, easy settings, low noise and most importantly clean clothes.

We have been using it for two years. It is a good looking, quiet machine. It has a very large capacity.

This is great washing machine that fits large loads. I have even washed comforters. The only thing is that if you're not very tall (I'm 5'1") you might need a stool to reach the bottom of the washer (LOL). Anyway it was this one or a front loader and I opted for this one, thus the stool.:)

This Maytag is so easy to operate! It has great capacity for heavy items like comforters, towels, jeans, work clothes. Very efficient and quiet operation. Multiple settings for all our needs from delicate to heavily soiled work and sports clothes. Love the sanitizing option too! Dependable and low energy and water consumption!

Pretty good washer. It doesn’t see to use a ton of water so I’m that regard, it’s good. It does have a tendency to leave little bits of lint on clothes which usually comes off in the dryer. Large wash basin allows us to fit our cal king comforter albeit just barely.

Yes, we never need to call the Maytag repairman. Excellent clothes washer compared to the LG we previously had. Very big capacity for large items like blankets and pillows. Easy to set type of clothes and quiet operations. Looking to save up for the matching dryer later.

We purchased this machine one and a half years ago. It is actually rusting underneath the paint, and the paint separating from the machine. Overall, we have liked the machine. We expected a little more quality in this price range. With a machine that is obviously going to be exposed to moisture, you would expect a little more concern in sealing the Finish. We realize the manufacturer is only trying to save some money where they can, but we were willing to spend a little extra to get a little more quality.
