I don't know what YOU may want in a washer, but I was looking for two things: A. Will my clothes be clean? B. How fast can I finish laundry and get on to better things. This Maytag certainly gets clothes clean, so "A" was covered. It takes care of "B" in two ways. First, it is huge, so you can do really large loads. Second, it is just fast. A normal cycle takes 45min. If you increase the spin time (to reduce drying time) the cycle increases to 55min. It fits about 40% more clothes than my old HE high-capacity brand "K" Elite (made by L...G...), and is about 20min faster, so that works out to getting laundry done in less than half the time. As another bonus, if you modify a cycle (for example, increase the spin time) it remembers, so you don't have to change them every time. I considered brand "S" as well (they are reviewed higher) but that brand sits much higher than the Maytag, so those are harder to unload. The only thing keeping this from getting a solid 5 stars is it is a little bit louder when cycling. If your washing machine is near a living space in your house, you will hear it running. If that doesn't matter to you, then this a perfect machine.

Installed myself as we purchased open box from the store. Works great, all features work as they should. We have well water too so there’s always a fear towels won’t be as fresh as they should but this washer does great. Cycles are fairly quick. Would buy again!

I like the washer. I am adjusting to all the selections. It washes clothes well. Sometimes it makes a slight noise when running.

I bought this because it’s the largest I could find, the warranty, the “commercial parts”. However, when I put a blanket, sheets or other bedding ... the drum makes a horrible plastic grinding noise and the tub doesn’t spin. Obviously something is wrong with this manchineel ... I just hope it’s a fluke that can be fixed.

This washer replaced another Maytag we used for 7 years without ever calling a repairman. I replaced it because it had some rust issues sitting in the garage. You can't fix rust so I decided to replace it with a more up to date machine. I'm confident it will have a long successful life also.

We bought this washer as a replacement for our recalled Samsung washing machine. My only complaint is it's a little louder than our previous washer otherwise it's great! I am actually quite happy that the Samsung was recalled and that we got this as a replacement because I like it so much more!!

Still learning about the washing machine, but clothes are definitely cleaner than with my old washing machine.

The washer was easy to install and setup. The delivery people were courteous and took the the old machine old without incident.

Very large, you can do bedding in. We have it up off the floor. It’s hard to reach the bottom to get the clothes.

Family enjoys it. We did see some white residue on our first few washes but after some experiments with settings clothes is clean. Good buy.

I love this washer. Its great for small loads too comforters!!!!!! With sports and work, there is a lot of dirty laundry. Also potty training can get messy. This washer has deep cleaning cycle for those extra dirty apparel.

With a big family we wash all day long. We still have one that wets the bed at night so we are constantly washing bedding. The multi options help for large blankets or small loads too. We love how many options the washer provides us. Great value for the price.

This is a really good washing machine. It was easy to get up and running and has plenty of settings. The washer has a large capacity for large loads of clothes. I am very satisfied with the washing machine and am glad we purchased it.

I love our new washer. It makes very little noise, and I can now get our laundry done in 2 loads rather then 5! It has washed everything well and everything comes out smelling great! We were a little concerned when buying it because reviews went from one extreme to another, but we love it!

Maytag washing machine runs well but is too big for two of us. Also black clothes there is a white like soap film on the clothes.

glad we bought this with good discount, but when socks after wash come out looking dirty still....I'm not sure about the purchase.

Would like to see more cycles like "Quick Wash", "Light/Small Load", "Whites". Nice washer.

I’m very pleased with our new Maytag washer. We purchased a Maytag washer/ dryer set 10 years ago which never stopped working.
