While researching washers I knew I didn't want to have a low water HE washing machine. I bough this one because the specs said it was not a high efficiency design. Well upon the first wash the water doesn't cover the clothes. Thought, ok a fluke. Next load a little bigger, same thing. This is ridiculous! I called Best Buy (the toll free number) get hung up on twice with no answers. Just more upset that I feel stuck with this purchase. Then to call the store and have the sales guy tell me that I don't have geek squad protect so it'll cost me extra for them to come look at it and suggested to call Maytag myself to get answers. I am running out of time. Working 6pm to 6am its hard to stay awake long enough to make phone calls and don't want to sit on the phone in the break room with any conversation. Finally get time to call Maytag and go figure!!!! It is a high effientcy, low water washer. I am furious and will be returning both the washer and dryer as I bought them as a set.

Skeptical at first when I saw there was no agitator, but clothes come out cleaner than with old machine. Tub capacity is huge and tub is deep. Shorter people may need a stool to reach bottom of tuib. Machine works great.

My main complaint is that small loads do not use enough water and ends up leaving soap stains. I end up having to add water from an external water source. With larger loads this is not a problem and it does a very good job.

Seems to wash clothes well, but it is much noisier than the samsung i had to replace due to a recall.

I really like the look of this washer you are able to see how well your clothes are being washed.

We had a previous Maytag and my wife loved it. We bought almost an identical Maytag washer with more features my wife loves. The whole purchase process up to the delivery and install was excellent.

I love this washer so much I own it in both our homes. IF you are short it is difficult to reach small items like socks from the bottom - get a step stool. The clothes wash wonderful in this machine!

Despite of its size, the washer really is unable to wash big loads. The washer uses very little water and this affects the quality of the wash. You put "too much" clothes and the clothes won't rinse properly.

This is a quiet huge inside drum machine. We have always loved Maytag washers and dryers. Our last one lasted 15yrs so we bought another one and don't regret one thing about it.

We were never happy with our old HE washer. The clothes didn't seem to get fully clean. We haven't noticed that with this washer. If your shorter than 5'5" you may want to buy a step stool. The tub is very deep.

This washing machine can handle an entire bed set in one wash. I love it so far! The only drawback is that it's very deep, and a little hard to reach the clothes at the bottom (if you're on the shorter side like me).

Good washer the only detail its that sometime there is a sound that worried me.

My washer broke after 16 years and I replaced with this washer. I love it! You can put in huge loads and the clothes come out so clean. It is also saving me over $10 month on my water bill, which is a plus.

Bought this with a matching dryer and hope it lasts 25 years like the one I just sold.

I originally wanted the non agitator version but I was delivered the wrong product...so I tried it. I do love the very large load capacity but it tore up my bathroom rug and maybe put a hole in one of my shirts....I'm gonna have to keep an eye on it!

This is a great machine and very easy to use you must follow the users manual for best results use the appropriate detergent &, load accordingly. I am very happy with this machine.

Washing machine is great! Only downside is there is no quick wash cycle.
