Very Disappointed in this Maytag Washer!!

Ft. 11-Cycle Top-Loading Washer - White!! Sure not made like the older Maytag Appliances we have owned during our 45+ Yrs of Marriage. We have owned 3 sets of Maytag Washer and Dryers over the years and all of them we sold in good working condition with very few minor problems this last one needed a Transmission after only 1 and a half years of service which would have cost almost as much as a new Washer! Luckily we always buy a extended warranty when it comes to larger Purchases!!

I was told this is the top rated by two employees from two different location, especially for big loads. It does not wash well. It leaves white marks. It leaves section of unwashed areas meaning some parts of the clothes are wet yet dry. It has the smell of when you wore it instead of being washed from a washing machine. I followed the manual book on how to wash the clothes even though I know how to wash clothes. I realize each machine has their own set of settings for loads and type you put into the washing machine. Worst worst purchase ever.

Did not want a high efficiency unit. Terrible at cleaning highly soiled laundry. Live on a farm, doesn't work for us.

Posted .There are no set range of cycle times for this model of washer. Cycle times vary depending on water pressure in the home, load size, amount of detergent used etc. The unit also has a soil sensor, which would sense the soil on the clothing. Which in return would adjust the time. The time in the display is an estimated time only and may adjust. Hopefully this information is beneficial to you. I have been testing it by washing everything in this house I can possibly wash, so it's been used a lot in the past 6 weeks. I really love the extra large capacity. We have king sized bedding and it does a fantastic job, no running it through twice. We had a front loader set, hated it for many reasons. So glad we went back to top load.
