My wife loves it! It’s better then our previous one!

This washer was not the washer for us, a large capacity machine but I was not a fan of the low water aspect. Felt like the clothes were not being cleaned all the way.

Purchased this washer thinking , Maytag, but am currently sick over this purchase. It fails to rinse clothes properly, so it requires extra rinse and rewashing often.

If you want a washer that is large enough for a kingsize comforter, this is the washer for you. I had this model before we moved and insisted on the same washer for our new home. Even though there are only two of us, I can wash a small load, because of the washer's ability to vary the water level based on the amount of clothes.

Was great...large capacity, great for our family of six...then it just stopped working. Waiting on Maytag repair technician to come look at it

Very disappointed given what the Maytag name has always stood for in my mind. The machine works ok washing clothes, but the tray for detergent/softener/oxi is horrible—I’ve had to replace the tray every 6-8 months since we bought this machine because something on the trays can’t seem to withstand more than 6-8 months of cycles and breaks apart! Now at less than 3 years old the plug is burning up!

Had less than month and broke. No power nothing. Geek Squad will not fix it and Maytag is horrible to deal with.

This washer definitely wasnt what i imagined a high effeciency washer to be.There was not enough water in the washer to wash clothes properly. The clothes were sprinkled with water and then sat at the bottom of the tub. It also did not agitate properly, considering it has no agitator. the clothes didnt move from where i placed them. They came out looking and smelling the same way they went in. Not something i was happy with. I returned the set and replaced them with a front load washer instead.

I love the machine my only complaint is the wash bin is very deep, I’m 5’4 and have to stand on toes to reach the clothes to get out of washer.

I had owned 2 large capacity, HE top loaders prior to purchasing this Bravos XL. The Maytag blows my previous machines away in both capacity and performance! My laundry facilities are on the bedroom level (2nd floor) of my home so I've been reluctant to buy a front loader due to the noisy spin cycles and leaky door seals. Although the Maytag is a bit noisier than both of my previous top loaders, it can handle loads twice the size of the maximum capacity of the GE Harmony washer it replaced. It is also much simpler to use than the touchscreen of the GE. The Maytag's dial selector and cycles are much more user friendly than the computerized LCD display on the GE. To those of you considering this Maytag, I have some advice about HE top loaders (I've been using them for 15+years). If you have never owned an HE, READ THE OWNER'S MANUAL from front to back! The operating behavior of an HE top loader is very different from the traditional agitator top loader. WATER LEVEL was a major concern for me until I understood how an HE wash system works. The plates in the bottom of the wash tub replace the old agitator. On many HE machines, it may appear that very little is happening during the wash cycle, but nothing could be further from the truth. Gravity and the weight of the wet clothes are the catalyst that pulls the soapy water through the fabric and holds the clothes against the bottom plate, which works much like an old fashioned washboard. Contrary to what many think, a higher water level has very little to do with how clean the clothes get with this system. The damp clothes themselves actually do a lot of the cleaning as they rub against each other. Too much water will reduce the cleaning action! Although it's hard to tell, the clothes will circulate down to the bottom plate as long as the wash tub is not overloaded. It happens more gradually than in a traditional washer. The spin cycle, however, works much like a traditional top loader. The centrifugal forces pull much of the dirty water and soap out of the clothes before the rinse cycle. Sorry for the long winded explanation, but it took me a long time to get my head around this concept. I hope it helps you make the right choice for you. I noticed that there are a lot of unfavorable reviews on this washer. I doubt many of these disgruntled buyers read the owner's manual before operating this washer. There are also a few external factors that will affect the performance of any washer in a negative way. Overloading, insufficient hot water temperature (should be at least 120 degrees F), water quality (hard water leaves mineral deposits on clothes), cheap or non-HE detergent, too much detergent (may cause suds lock) and lastly, clogged or insufficient plumbing (sewage may back up into the machine). These are issues that the manufacturer has no control over, but many buyers still prefer to complain and post bad reviews without taking all of the circumstances into consideration. I will now step down from my soapbox;) Seriously, this is an excellent HE toploader for the money!

This machine is the worst I have ever owned. Doesn't rinse properly and every piece of clothing comes out totally wrinkled. Even when using the "wrinkle free" cycle the clothes are totally wrinkled. Unless you enjoy ironing every piece of clothing, this is not the washer for you.

I would give 5 stars however this top loader gets off balance very easily. Load has to be repositioned before it will restart.

I returned it already. They’re coming Thursday to replace with LG. Luckily I discovered the issues with this before they delivered/installed dryer. Clothes never spinned correctly and it always errors out. I had a Maytag dishwasher that I loved so I thought maybe I’d have good luck with this. Switching back to LG front loafers. I don’t have time to watch a wash machine constantly. I think the one I got was a lemon...

Disappointed with this product. Best buy Geek squad came 2x to get it fixed during the pandemic, Now, it's down again!

I just love this machine. So happy I purchased it.

Washer did not work when properly hooked up, would not start on when load started.

The washing machine doesn't put out enough water to get the clothes wet and multiple times the clothes have come out not clean. We also have the dryer and you have to run it multiple times to get the clothes dry because for some reason it senses that they're dry and shuts off when they are not dry.

Little over 2 years old and control panel went out , not covered under warranty , cost more to fix it than what i paid for it , if you ever get one buy the xtra 5 year warranty .....
