The spin cycle is quite and stable, I like the chime it is pleasant and audible. How ever it is taller than usual, I'm 5'7" and can nearly reach to the bottom, you will need a step ladder if you are shorter.

Normal cycle doesn't work (Maytag said that setting was put there as a selling point). Maytag repair technician said machine will not wash heavy items such as comforters, blankets, towels, sweaters, ect. While it has a large interior, you shouldn't do loads bigger than medium (per technician and Maytag). Maytag is no help and poor customer service.

Terrible! Save Your Money!

New bearings after less than a year!?! We asked three different service men and they all said the same thing. It’s a terrible washer that the company has slapped the ‘Maytag’ label on to help sell it.

Worst washer I've ever owned!!!

Doesn't clean clothes very well, leaves streaks and soap marks all over clothes. No option for extra water for washing. Sometimes have to wash clothes twice in a row. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT!!!! Maytag is absolutely terrible!!

We've used it at least 4 times a week (teenage boys) for the last two years and haven't had a single issue.

Water source is chlorinated, in house filter and through a water softener. Water will not flow in. Screens are clear. Ten year warranty covers only motor and tub, not other parts. Thought it was going to be a great machine. Nope! Now have to pay for service. Used 5 times!

Inferior product

Maytag sent repairman which he had to replace almost all working parts. Repair did not completely fix the problem and it has been a bad experience. Unfortunately, I don't feel we will get 2 years out of this Maytag washer. Very disappointing, I would not recommend Maytag, they are making an inferior product.

I liked the tub size but not the wrinkles.

Posted .Happy, thanks for the review. We would recommend balling up the clothing similar to the size of a soccer ball, and place around the agitator one at a time. We would also recommend stacking it up so it is around the sides and the agitator plate is visible with all of the clothing around it. Do not fill up past the 2nd to last row of holes in the basket to help avoid overloading. Hopefully this information is beneficial to you. Thank you for your inquiry regarding our Maytag appliances!

It started good the first day, then wouldn't start again. The next one is almost no different. It takes a certain sequence of button pushing to get it started. We haven't figured out the sequence yet, just get lucky every once in awhile. According to the manufacturer, it shouldn't be like that.

We sold the last set with our house. We then bought the same set again because of the quality, durablity and reliability! Love the metallic gray.

FORGET about washing a large load or a comforter, etc!!!
