bought this washer and dryer set after having a whirlpool gold series for years! My whirlpool worked great. This Maytag is the worst. It does not fill water to appropriate level. Clothes come out half washed. The agitator moves slower than my grandma! Never again. WHen I called best buy 2 weeks after delivery they told me I was out of 30 day return. I was not out of 30 day return I purchased it and it took over a month for delivery, and this wasn't the original washer I had ordered but the other was discontinued. Guess it was an omen. Plus COVID hit so they told me nothing can be done right now. I call and wait on hold and hang up because it is ridiculous!!! Now I am stuck with this piece of S***!!!

I have had issues within the first month of purchasing this unit and continue to have them. It began with not cleaning the clothes, then not draining, then leaving residue in the washer and also making grinding and thumping noises and now the motor is humming for the manufacture to say they cannot count the warranty work that was done under the first year of warranty, that they have to go by what is done under the extended warranty. I made a mistake by purchasing this unit.

This washer does not fully clean dark clothes. It leaves what appears to be soap residue on dark clothes as it doesn’t appear to use enough water to completely rinse the load. You will have to experiment with the settings to get a good wash. Very frustrating experience. I would avoid this washer and look elsewhere.

Quit working 1 year Almost to the date! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

I have to admit I was quite hesitant to buy this machine after reading some of the reviews but I could not be happier with my purchase. My LG high-efficiency washer was having a number of issues after 7 years so we decided to not spend any more money repairing the old machine and decided to get a new washing machine. Calebe S was our salesperson and he was great as far as knowledge and professionalism. The Maytag washer is GREAT! It is super quiet and does an amazing job washing our clothes, I could not be happier. The tub is absolutely huge and will make washing our king size comforter a breeze. I cannot think of any cons in regards to this product, having owned a high-efficiency washer in the past I knew exactly what to expect as far as water level, etc. that many reviewers complain about. This machine blows away the LG I used to have and I highly recommend it without any hesitation.

Not sure what was worse, this washer or the geek squad extended coverage I purchased with it. Both failed miserably. Washing machine broke 2x in the 3 years that I have owned it. Both times it took more than a month for Best Buy Geek Squad to fix it. Save your money, buy neither.

This is a AWFUL!!! washer Maytag and Bestbuy should ashamed for selling a product like this... This machine does not properly wash loads. Clothing often come out of a cycle with dry spots and massive amounts of clothing lint. Do your research do not by this model !!!!!!

This washer just doesnt apund right while it trying to semsor the load and wash. It sounds like a car about to break down. I have only have the machine less then 3 weeks and it's not looking good.

The washer never worked correctly from the time we purchased it. Thankfully we purchased Geek squad protection and they did a replacement. Thank you COVID for making replacement parts impossible to get!

Worse washer ever! ten months and bearings shot. Read reviews across internet. Common problem with this model.My machine has been broke for three weeks. Maytag customer service stinks!!!

Does not clean clothes good. Have to repeat cleaning cycles more two times for clothes to get cleaned. No ver effective today.

This was a replacement for a recalled Samsung. I could get more water with the old one on bedding cycle. With this one, the deep water or cycle bedding cycle doesn't give enough water to make a difference. You MUST put detergent pods or scent boosters at the bottom of the washer BEFORE adding any clothes or the pods will be stuck to the clothes partially dissolved.I recommend liquid detergent and liquid all fabric bleach or liquid Oxy. The Oxy dispenser doesn't hold enough Oxy powder for a load. Better results with all liquids with this machine. Otherwise you need dissolve everything thoroughly in plenty water for good results. The tub size is good especially if you wash for a family. But the cycles are rediculously long, even on medium soil washes. So we save on water and pay more for electricity. Maybe the trade off is in a very efficient spin which reduces drying time. I am very concerned about the wear and tear on my delicates caused by more friction and less water. So I'll put them in a king size pillowcase with a knot at the top before I put them in the washer.The federal government mandated all of the " water saving " features several years ago so now all washers operate similarly regardless of brand . One of the main reasons I bought this washer is because it's made in Ohio and has a 10 year warranty.

This washer is HUGE! I can fit 20 towels in it which is fantastic. I breed doxies and wash their bedding frequently. My only complain is the load times seem to be SO LONG. 55 min for a normal load is a bit much. I highly recommend this for someone with a large family, cuts down the loads tremendously.

I absolutely Love it!!! I wash clothes everyday, and it is so quiet. I actually bought it based on the reviews and so far, so good!! This is my first Maytag and I am loving it!! The only downside to this washing machine is that I am short so it is hard to get the socks out because of the washers height . But that shouldn't discourage anyone from buying it! Love the 5.3 capacity of the tub. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase.

Purchased this washer a month ago and so far it works great make sure you are using the correct inline hoses it make a different. Very impressed with the quietness of the machine and cleaning performance. Time will tell about the quality of the machine but for now it works great.
