The lint screen is on the top of the dryer. I couldn't see that in the picture. So fuzz drops all over the top even if you remove it slowly. The top of the dryer slants towards the front so you have to watch what you set on top.

Just pray to God you never need to have anything done service wise by Maytag as you will be waiting weeks for them to ever get anyone to service the product. I would never recommend anyone by a whirlpool or Maytag product again
