We love the matching Maytag gas dryer to our Maytag washing machine. We are now able to wash and dry the comforter on our king size bed without going to the laundromat for a large machine. The dryer is quick and works well and is very quiet. No shaking or vibrating and it is easy to use. We also purchased the pedestals so the doors are at a convenient height and makes in easier to load and unload and no back pains.

I bought months ago and decided they were worth a positive review. I was previously using a cheap top-loader /front-loader dryer . The things I have been most impressed by are the capacity (I do ~1/3 less loads) and how clean the clothes are with less soap and water (this def gets the clothes cleaner than the top loaders I have used before). My only issue has been that the overnight wash and dry cycle doesn't dry the clothes. They don't take long to dry the following day, but they are still more than damp, even small loads.

This dryer is really good at drying clothes and is huge inside. A few reviews complain about the button and end cycle volume being too loud. Read the manual and adjust the volume to your preference. I would buy this dryer again in a heart beat.

So far very pleased with this Maytag dryer. Dries very fast, Not very noisy like my old unit. Also the color is sharp and stylish. It dries clothes fast, smell fresh and nice, what more could I ask for!

This dryer works really well and will automatically add extra time if the moisture sensor suggests that. The steam refresh works very well even though water rather than actual steam is what is placed into the dryer drum. The drum is not stainless steel though. Only criticism is that reversing the door from opening to the left vs. right is somewhat complicated with removal of an inner/outer door. This is done by Best Buy's installation team, but there was a piece of styrofoam/hair that made its way between the two panels. It's possible that opening it up to clean it out will also introduce new dirt/debris -- just a bad design in my opinion.

Works great and the feature of steam is excellent. Very quite. Installers showed up on time. Installed it in less than 20 min.

Switched from an electric to gas dryer. After 30 days, Maytag turns a very efficient dryer into an easy to use machine. Need reading glasses to see the many optional settings. Works great and is quiet.

This dryer was very easy to learn & start using! Love the different Intelligent cycle settings and it's so quiet! Reminds me of the quality we were used to in our old Maytag Neptune:) Love it & highly recommended!

Quiet dryer. Appreciate the quick wrinkle control - it does a great job on low heat in 30 minutes and if I can’t get to it right away automatically spins the load every so often to keep fresh

This dryer was very easy to install. Very easy to use. And easy to clean filter. Heats fast and dries fast. Large copacity for Large loads. Easy to spin knobs and easy to read display

Quiet and efficient. Love the steam function being hooked up directly to the water line.

Great features and so quiet you dont realize they are on. So many great and needed options and in the end the clothes are pretty dry. Tone at end could be louder.

You cannot go wrong with a Maytag. As far as I am concerned, it's the gold standard for laundry equipment. Now I do laundry as recreation, it's so much fun!

I waited to review this item until I received my utility bills. The dryer works great. Changing to a gas dryer from electric has lowered my utility bill.

Originally went in to buy just the dryer but ended up buying both. They are very good and efficient even removing old stains that the old washer wouldn’t

This dryer performs well, drying heavy items (towels, comforters, etc.) in a reasonable amount of time. Two quirky features, that are annoying are: the signal that the dryer is done is a chime that sounds several times; and setting the Timed Dry cycle. There is no feature to set the amount of time, you are required to push the + or - button (dinging with each push) to set the time.

Very quite drys quickly, very large capacity. I like the new color.

Had to talk my wife into getting this dryer to replace our 20-year old unit. After it was delivered and she had a chance to use it she said: "Why didn't you make me get it sooner?" She is totally satisfied with this dryer. It is easy to use and it takes less time to dry a load.
