Everyone should see and own this movie. It's a classic

I love this movie. The story is based on fact and is about Carl Brashear's (Cuba Gooding Jr.) attempt to become the first African-American master diver and master chief in the United States Navy. The movie also stars Robert De Niro.

Based on true events, we are reminded how many challenges Black Americans faced not only in the military but in so many aspects of life. An inspiring movie with terrific cast and acting. Cuba is one of my favorite actors and he did not let me down.

I love the emotions conveyed through this film. it not only touches on the honor that comes from serving with your all in the United States Navy, but also about being true to yourself and growing beyond expectations. A wonderful film for anyone.

You have to watch the film to get an understanding on what was life for those who were treated poorly but managed to rise through it all. This would give the movie 42 a run for its money!

This movie is inspirational. It reminds you that no what matter the diversity if you want something you can have it.

A movie for all military famlies. It shows the sacrifice of the service member and the family at home. A must have.

Cuba Gooding Jr. did a great job in this movie showing the courage and tenacity of men of color as they not only had to face against the rigors of training but also defending their rights as black men when times were not so equal. Really great movie!

My absolute favorite movie. Based a true story which makes it all the better. Good quality DVD and the price was well worth it.

History untold is history ignored. A real history of a real hero.

DeNiro and Gooding Jr really shine in this film about overcoming discrimination and defying the odds in the Navy. Highly recommended
