Easily game of the year for 2015. Even if you never played MGS games before and you like stealth/war games then you'll love this..just maybe do a google search on some story elements to catch yourself up.

This is my first time playing this franchise and I have to say....it is pretty good. I played it for 3 days straight and not even close to being done. This game will definitely keep you busy for awhile.

This is one of the best games on the PS4, If you are fan of Metal Gear then this is a must have, if you don't know anything about Metal Gear then its still a great action game. Well worth your money ...

This has to be one of the best games available for PS4 right now. The graphics and gameplay are amazing. I'm a huge fan of Hideo Kojima and the Metal Gear francise. Don't hesitate to pick this one up.

Do you like that gun? Take it. Do you like that mortar? Take it. Does that guy look cute? Take him. In the 80s you can tie balloons to anything and bring it back to your bae in the middle of the ocean.

Do not buy this game if you're looking for the COD experience. However, if you enjoy stealth mechanics, patience, and the OCCASSIONAL "guns a blazing" gameplay then BUY THIS GAME. Buy it if you love OPEN WORLD SANDBOXES. There is also some new elements that are being introduced in Metal Gear and that's the whole "RTS Type" gameplay where you manage resources, hire new employees and create your own private army. On top of that you can play online and away from your ps4 in a side game. Are you into graphics?? The graphics are top notch and rival any PC out there, I'm not lying I PC game also and this delivers pretty close!! Art direction, gameplay, storyline (a bit convoluted but a small point). BUY IT!!

The game boasts enough playtime that warrants a full purchase buy. Those who love the MGS series may find themselves conflicted between emotions of confusion and love. The game was clearly released unfinished, which is a shame. The gameplay is really great and fun for a long time. Eventually you will get bored of the open world and start nitpicking the story.

This game is an epic entry to the series for both new Metal Gear Solid fans and veterans alike. I had a friend fill me in and once I was done with the game went back and played the previous entries.

This MGS is the best in the series, the graphics, open world, and story are awesome. There is one thing I hate about the game and that would be the in game currency, like having to pay for ammo, weapons, and helicopter rides.

The gameplay is great and diverse. It improves upon the stealth genre but the wide open world betrays what a Metal Gear Solid game is. The open world decreases the metroidvania aspect of past games and that was a let down. Multiplayer is fun but it doesnt have a huge variety in modes or in maps. 3 modes and about 6 maps that cycle in size and time of day.

Love this game. Series never disappointed & neither has this one.

The game has so many details in it its amazing. There is so much to do yet the story keeps you pushing forward. The stealth and strategy needed for this game is unmatched by any other out there

This is the next installment of the acclaimed Metal Gear solid franchise. It lives up to most of my expectations. Great gameplay mechanics. Very few bugs. Fun. Addictive gameplay, for awhile at least. A couple drawbacks. after around 40 hours the game can feel a bit stale and repetitive. The ending also feels like the game was cut short unfortunately.

At long last it's here. MGS 5 lives up to every expectation. It redefines what Open World / Sandbox can be and gives us glimpses of what it may be in the future. It's this vs Witcher 3 for GotY.

This game is clearly the best in the series and to that point, you do not have to have played the previous ones cause the plot is totally ridiculous. this game lets you play the way you want to!

This is the 5th installment of Metal Gear Solid and arguably the best one yet. The PS4 is a new platform for the MSG franchise and hopefully it leads to a follow up in the not to distant future.

Must buy game. The last from director Hideo Kojima. Open world makes this game so unique because there is no one way do complete an objective.

About as good as a video game gets. Completely open world where you can choose how to approach a situation and do whatever you want. It's glorious, and I'm not even a big fan of the MGS series.

MGSV has the best gameplay in the series. Infiltrate and tackle missions in any way you choose. Though the gameplay is great the story and boss battles are lacking compared to previous titles.
