This game is certainly a challenge - so different than all the other games requiring you to kill everything. It more recon and stealth, and certainly is amazing fun.

All around great game with excellent performance. All the gameplay mechanics are top notch and you still get that awesome feeling playing stealthy like in previous games in the series. Long time MGS fans who enjoyed story telling through long cutscenes, might be disappointed. In fact, this is the weakest Metal Gear Solid, story wise. Besides the intro, those seem to be long gone, and I'm probably halfway through the game story wise. You also get around 150 side ops missions to do, but they get really repetitive if played back to back. All around, it's definitely worth the money and you'll enjoy it.

MGS always made great games, but by far this is the best MGS to date. They played attention to every detail of the game. A definitely must have for any true gamer.

I highly recommend this game to fans of the franchise, as well as those new to it. The open world combat and deep story-line make it a must-play for any gaming fan.

Always been a MGS fan since the beginning. The best thing about this game are the freedom of different choices/tactics in completing various missions. In addition, there is base building, upgrading, vehicles which adds to the countless hours of planning and fun. Oh, and you get to have a dog companion, too.

I pre-ordered this game and best buy ensured it was at my door the day of the release. This MGS is one of the best ones yet. Huge open world, lots of customization.

I'm about 5 hours in, and I'm almost overwhelmed by the amount of stuff in this game. Looks beautiful and plays like a dream. Great game for any action/sneaking fan

This is a great final entry for Kojima. It is definitely different then the previous iterations but they are all improvements. Overall I highly recommend this game.

This game is very complexed. I have followed the story and can say that this one really tops it off. The graphics are stunning. There are no limits in this game.

This game doesn't let up. You have plenty of things to do and the story just keeps on going. Kojima's Metal Gear story is wrapped up nicely in this final addition.

The metal gear franchise by Kojima never disappoints. The game has so much to it along with a great storyline that ties a lot of loose ends from the entire story.

If you're looking for the 5th installment in the series you're probably familiar with Metal Gear. However, this isn't the metal gear that you're used to. Implementing for the first time open world elements, it changes the way you play the game completely. This gives the player complete control on how they want to tackle the mission, and endless hours of varying game play. While the game play is on point, the story is definitely lacking which is a disappointment for a long time fan like myself. But if you're looking to be hooked my addicting game play and a world to get lost in for a few hours i'd recommenced this game for long time fans of the series and newcomers alike!

It's great to get yet another installment from the Metal Gear Solid series. Fans of the series will love the new open world gameplay with the old Metal Gear feel.

Simply beautiful graphics, there's a lot to the game so you can't just rush through it. Leveling up and getting better equipment is fun. Great replay value here.

This game is clearly developed with 2015 in mind - missions are broken down by episode, storyline is intense, graphics are beautiful. Great game, would recommend.

I've played MGS since the first one, and although I have always been a big advocate of the linear gameplay and storytelling this game still manages to hold up. While it may not be as good as MGS or MGS3 the fluid mechanics and improved stealth make up for it. It is a solid game with lots of playability.

Long time MGS fan and after playing this I have to say this is the best so far in the franchise! Well done Hideo Kojima! It doesn't get any better than this game!

Loved the MGS series of games esp. for the PS console. This game really shines, challenging game play.... what's not to like. I highly recommend this for anyone.
