    The actual gameplay is great, but everything else could be a lot better. The lack of story is a huge disappointment. Being in charge of Mother Base feels like a boring chore. The characters aren't as interesting as past Metal Gear games. I like being able to approach missions any way that I choose, but the open world is bland and boring between bases. There are a ton of missions, but they do get repetitive. I recommend this if you just want a game to mess around and don't care about story.

    Very fun game overall. I wish that there was a bit more mission diversity. Can get a bit repetitive if trying to do all the missions given to you. The graphics are very sharp, and smooth. Worth the price of admission.

    Huge fan of the MGS series, and while I greatly enjoyed all of the games, I haven't had this much fun with a MGS since MGS3. Granted, Peace Walker was the game that gave us the fulton and base management, but really, this game brings it all together. My only knock is that the story at times can be a bit convoluted, but this is MGS, it goes with the territory and is still a blast to play through even if things aren't always clear. GOTY.
